Title: League Update Post by: NetsGM on November 20, 2008, 07:09:47 AM Morning gentlemen;
I have forwarded the resignings info to Bods so that he can upload the extension offers and you guys can make your decisions from there - Derek always makes announcements when he puts them up, look for that in the next day or two. There is one *big* free agent on the market, at least. Sorry for the delays. From here, we will transition to SpursGM who will begin his tenure as Commish when he gets back from wherever he is at. One of his first orders of business will be to set the schedule and start the off-season, so keep your eyes peeled for updates from him. I am sure that he will do a great job, and I thank him for taking the reins here at SSBA to keep things moving forward. Take care, I'll see you all on the boards. Title: Re: League Update Post by: SpursGM-old on November 21, 2008, 09:41:07 AM Hey guys...a couple things.
First, I came back from my trip to a totally screwed up computer. I hope to have everything fixed by this weekend. Once I get it back up & running then I will get with Bods to get the league running. Second, Bods & I have had some problems with the backups received from the Nets. This is also why the resignings hasn't been posted yet. Bods has been working with Nets to get this resolved. I just wanted to keep everyone informed. Hopefully we can be back up and running by next week. Once I have my computer and the league file I will update the calendar. Title: Re: League Update Post by: HawksGM on November 21, 2008, 11:00:43 AM Sweet, any new features involved in bods version? or is it just t to a web based program?
Title: Re: League Update Post by: NetsGM on November 21, 2008, 06:58:54 PM the "bods version" isn't here. This is still FBB.
I have yet to receive either the resignings or a working save (seems to have been lost in the nether that is the interweb). Once Nets fires off the email and I get it, I'll update the league. Resent the email to you, Bods - I sent the original to the wrong addy (html not gmail). I also think I found the right save file and have forwarded it along to you (also uploaded to the site). Should be good to go. Ugh, sorry for the delays guys.I have yet to receive either the resignings or a working save (seems to have been lost in the nether that is the interweb). Title: Re: League Update Post by: NetsGM on November 23, 2008, 01:04:05 PM Got the re-signings and the save file. Will upload re-signings up tonight, then we'll get the schedule up after that.
Thanks for everything Nets. Title: Re: League Update Post by: SpursGM-old on November 23, 2008, 04:51:56 PM I have my computer back up and running. Assuming Derek gets the re-signings up tonight I am looking at running them Wed night.
The draft file has not been prepared (I think) but once it is then I will set the rest of the offseason schedule. I will try to give a couple days for evaluating the draft before running the first round. Title: Re: League Update Post by: NetsGM on November 23, 2008, 10:49:08 PM Resignings are up.
I actually completely forgot about the draft, and don't have time to make a file before the draft would start. Personally, I don't think it would be wise to put up a draft file after the trade deadline, but I'll leave that decision up to the Spurs in case he wants to make one. Title: Re: League Update Post by: MagicGM on November 24, 2008, 04:05:52 AM maybe a week is good enough to make a draft file?
I think it will take almost a week to have every GM check the resignings for their team. not sure, your call, but I think the long break might cause some gms to be inactive for a while. |
