Title: Sim 8 Discussion
Post by: NetsGM on October 27, 2008, 09:05:37 PM
Lotsa sim related chatter, please.

Bit better with the DC's.

Check the GM check-in and team banks, which are up to date. If I've made any errors or omissions, please let me know with a detailed PM and link to the proof that I goofed.

Reminder that sim 9 is still tomorrow - might be closer to 8pm than 10pm, so please get your DC's in asap.

Thanks, and enjoy.

Good lord, the Atlantic is brutal. And why is Pryz sucking so badly in a contract year.

My team is surprising me with very sim...
A great bench and excellent shooting is carrying the Warriors this year...

4-3, and starting to show some life in the pacific northwest.

Danny Manning is a scoring machine, and Pearl Washington is loving life as a starting point guard.

Now, if the defense could tighten a bit, this could be a pretty good team.

somehow i lost to the Pacers pretty easily. A little surprising, but without my 2 best players at least reasonable.
(hint: maybe it's because they can bring a 4-time league MVP from the bench???)

What hurts more is losses to lousy Knicks (where we scored 50) and Kings teams , dropping us deep out of the playoff picture. Not even beating the Hornets could ease that pain.

Guess it's time to hand over the keys to the young dudes and play out the season.

5-4 for the Rockets although we were 4-1 at one point.

A 9 game winning streak has really changed things around for this team. we are second in the West (even as far as record is concerned) and a lot of different guys are contributing. Roy Tarpley is having an amazing season, I'm very happy with his 16.3ppg, 9.7rpg and 2.3bpg.

MJ is ticking over and Allen Coles has found his niche!

I love this team, and im sure if we werent so weak at PF/C where we only have 1 player and one guy playing PF even he's more SF/SG we would be on top probably.

Kerr won 2nd straight POTM award. Guy is carrying this team amazingly. But suprised Ervin didnt get any ROTM yet. Well, #1 is mission impossible, i guess we just have to concentrate on keeping our #3, cause Kings are damn close, and i dont see any other threat, itll be fight for #3 till the end.

maybe it is because your team is afraid of a player 40+ years old. i mean this guy is still better than avg even at that age.

i think Dwight could still start for half of the league's teams, at age 40. That tells you how dominant he once was.
But you know he's not the main reason for your success this season. Orlando finally being the player i was hoping for when i carried him through the early stages of his career and the peaking Sabas - the one we never got to see in the NBA - are simply kicking ass.
