Title: Sim 3 Discussion
Post by: NetsGM on October 14, 2008, 10:14:27 PM
Sim 3 is on its way up. You may notice that I simmed 11 days on account of a little "order of operations" mistake I made, which was kinda stupid - so I'd rather not get into it.

Enjoy!

Not completely correct. Day31 does work, just the days inbetween are missing
(might have something to do with Derek's upload manager, since these are in fact two different sims)

Took back the lead in the Atlantic, back were we belong.
Jerry Munson took another POTW award, cool man.

Uh, bad sim, but still i kinda like it, i really dont remember when was the last time this team was
balanced like this, we did lose 6 games however, but none with more then 9pts, usually our losses before were
coming from 1pt loss to 30+pts loss, so i really like that games we lose are at least close ones, that at least proves we're not oscillating from game to game like we did over last few seasons.

Even more weird we went 2-6 was our guys continued to play high level...

Kerr after horrible sim 1, had another great sim, entered top 10 in APG and is at #7 now.

Zeke moved to #4 in PPG, #7 in SPG, lowered his topg to 3topg (career-low)

Ervin to #2 in RPG falling 0.1 short of #1, moved 1 to #4 in BPG as well.

Perdue improved.

And they all kept high offensive %.

New guys Aguirre and Houston did well as well, Nance not however. And Wiggins is back to IL.

Pretty weird to get a 2-6 sim from all those improvements, but like ive mentioned, games were all
close ones once more. I guess to take advantage of this is just to move Perdue back to backup instead
of Nance, Wiggins on IL and we should get back on winning track.

But even more i hope we can keep up those close games, i prefer to lose like this when i do, then to
win one-two by 10-30, then lose 67-92, 108-134 for example which was the case last few seasons.

The only thing i still regret is that i wasnt able to draft a player for 1st time ever because of stupid
remote island w/o net connection while i was working and got Mottola at #10, that guy is one of worst
CPU drafted picks ever, but well, shit happens.

Looks like this team has a chance to break the long-standing oPPG record.

I could really use Don Laporte right now and his rebounding. Every season rebounding is my teams major problem and when I finally address it I have to wait half a season  :bash:

the Bucks are hopeless this season.  3-6 is my best sim yet.

when your team is this bad, you find yourself doing things like nominating players for HOF.  so i suggest everyone go vote on Milner

My upload manager is fine.  Those files simply weren't included in the zip file that was uploaded.  My guess is Nets probably deleted the HTML after running the sim, then ran day 31.

no criticism, none at all. just an assumption.
I know your tools make life for the commissioner a whole lot easier.

Wow, boys. Haven't checked in for a while, didn't even realize the season was a go. Decent start for the Raptors but going to need to tweak the DC a bit, and hopefully deal away most of the team  :bods:
