Title: Re: sim 9 done Post by: Str8westcoasta on August 13, 2008, 04:07:44 AM Fantastic sim for us, 7-2.
Some key divisional victories with wins over Timberwolves, Nuggets, Spurs & Jazz (heh) Also a come from behind win over Cavs was nice to see. The 2 losses came vs a very average Trailblazers and Suns. We looked much more balanced with Clark Kellogg starting at the SF spot and he was a breath of fresh air filing the stat sheet in numerous categories! Also, 7 footer Roberto Wanzer is looking great off the bench. I really like this kid Title: Re: sim 9 done Post by: SixersGM on August 13, 2008, 04:27:32 AM After Sim 9, Karl Malone is officialy untouchable.
Title: Re: sim 9 done Post by: NetsGM on August 13, 2008, 07:11:21 AM Not too fussy on that 4-4 sim, very inconsistent play as a team and from individuals - getting lapped by the 76ers in win% which is the difference between 2nd and 5th seed in the playoffs. Gonna have to take a good hard look at the DC to see what I can tweak to get things going more consistently.

I have a lot of pieces that I really like on this team; there's certain changes I have to make if I want to turn this ship around.
Or I could just trade everyone. Title: Re: sim 9 done Post by: RaptorsGM on August 13, 2008, 03:42:34 PM A decent 5-2 for the Raps but I have mixed feelings. Started the sim with a tough loss to the Hornets at home which we cannot be doing if we are going to call ourselves an upper-echelon team. 2 pt loss in OT, this is the reason I wish we provided the .txt files in SSBA like in DJSL. Would love to see what happened at the end of the game. It was a decent battle of our top 3s. Macy and Woodson had comparable games scoring wise with Macy having a better game overall. Nique and Johnson also had comparable games. Buck probably had the best game for the Hornets, and Magloire easily had the best game of all - 25 points, 17 assists, 13 rebounds, 5 steals. One of the best games I have ever seen.
Woodson had a fenomenal(!!) game against the Nuggets with 47 pts on 20-29 shooting, and Corzine made it the 2nd straight game a Raptor had a triple double with 12 points, 18 rebounds, 10 blocks. Magloire followed up the next game with 24 pts, 16asts, 10rebs for a third straight game, an unofficial Raptor record. Rest of the sim was kind of hit or miss - beat the Suns on the road, and the Magic and Nets at home, but had an unexplainable loss to the Bulls. |
