Title: sim 8 done Post by: PacersGM on August 11, 2008, 02:09:18 AM again a strong sim. sabs is really enjoying his new role.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: SixersGM on August 11, 2008, 02:33:12 AM I thought that defensively,we've done a pretty good job. It's just that the BEASTERN conference is so damn competitive that we dropped to the eight seed, and if the Celtics can continue winning, I won't be surprised if we drop out of the play-off run.
Anyway, learned a couple of new things with my team. Harold Pressley is turning out to be a decent player than I expect, he did a pretty good job at the PG position with the absence of Rod Strickland, who went down with an injury. Karl Malone suits pretty well with the new pace, his FG% skyrocketed and this might earn bump him up from no.3 scoring option to no.2. Two teams that standout this sim in the Eastern Conference: Magic: 9-1 last ten games Celtics: 7-1 last sim. What's impressive about their last sim is that they were able to beat teams a handful of good teams like the Cavs, Hawks and the Magic. my only loss this sim was against the Celtcs without KJ :( good thing he isn't out next sim. Sharman is dayum too. :D Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: PacersGM on August 11, 2008, 04:14:02 AM eastern conference is a monster this year. only 1 team out of the west would qualify for the POs with their current record. unbelievable. :screwy:

Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: SonicsGM on August 11, 2008, 05:08:53 AM Holy crap, how many overtime sessions were there in this one????

Guessing from PT i would say double OT. can't prove it. Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: RaptorsGM on August 11, 2008, 08:06:32 AM Well a 7-1 sim for the Raptors, the team no one is talking about but everyone is afraid of. Only loss was a 2 pt loss in Indiana which I can stomach. I really like this new lineup.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: HawksGM on August 11, 2008, 08:15:43 AM We go 5-5 in a tough sim competition wise. Good to see Mark Jackson getting player of the month, it surprised me but it's good none the less.

Otherwise, the Spurs were my "1" in going 7-1 this sim, camping just a game outside the top 8 now, a mere game behind the Cavs and Sixers. And after winning 13 of 16 since my new lineup is in place it doesn't look all too bad for the rest of the season. 8-) Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: CelticsGM on August 11, 2008, 09:00:04 AM We go 5-5 in a tough sim competition wise. Good to see Mark Jackson getting player of the month, it surprised me but it's good none the less. HEY HEY HEY, just checked and found out Jeremy Munson got himself two consecutive POTW awards and consequently a POTM as well. Can't remember if THAT ever had happened to a Celtic before ... :-) Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: RaptorsGM on August 12, 2008, 01:28:56 AM Well statistics wise we had a great sim. I need to change things up to try and get some sort of balance. Clark Kellogg could be the man to provide it just like he did last year... Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: BlazersGM on August 12, 2008, 08:49:38 AM 2-2, i guess this frontless team will make POs after all, too bad i had to skip off-season, so i couldnt resign Rodman, draft better player, and try to sign a good FA, we would be much better.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: NetsGM on August 12, 2008, 04:49:28 PM Solid at 4-1. Looking to get a bit more active heading to the deadline.
