Wow I must have butchered my addition when i was doing the numbers :lmao: Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: RaptorsGM on August 06, 2008, 09:32:19 AM Well I'm not entirely sure what to think. On one hand we had a 3-1 sim and stayed right within striking distance in the East. We need a 8-2 or 9-1 streak to really make up all the ground. The new lineup has looked amazing in two wins scoring 118 and 124, but we lost to the nets scoring 87 and beat the jazz scoring only 86.
On the whole we averaged 103.8 ppg and gave up 94.3. Can't argue with that if those numbers can continue. Corzine - 9.8ppg, 15rpg, 3.3bpg Kite - 7ppg, 8.5rpg, 1.3bpg Pryz - 2.5ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.3bpg Nique - 24.8ppg, 7.5rpg, 3.5apg, 1.8spg Woodson - 29ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.3spg Williams - 8ppg, 2rpg, 1.5apg Magloire - 16.8ppg, 10apg, 5rpg, 1.3spg Whatley - 5ppg, 2rpg, 2.5apg Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: RaptorsGM on August 06, 2008, 09:45:49 AM Also our win against the Bucks was win number 1000 for the Raptors franchise. Cheers!
Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: NetsGM on August 06, 2008, 09:51:49 AM Nice one-loss sim, handling things during Timmy's absence just nicely at 8-4 - not bad for a team with an absentee manager (I formally missed my second sim DC....). Mahmoud continues to look like a very solid addition, but with our team D really picking up since Adam rejoined the starters - I think I'll keep him in there and let Abdul Rauf come in off the bench. Am just noticing how strong my Nets are at home - and with how strong the East is - I'll really need to stave off the 76'ers with second in the Atlantic very likely meaning the 5th or even 6th seed.
Nice representation during the All-Star Weekend. Timmy and Sap were the two leading scorers for the Sophs, and Mahmoud was tied as the second highest scorer. Pryz came off the bench for the East stars as well. Good showing. Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: CelticsGM on August 06, 2008, 11:28:54 AM nope not ignored just decided that a guy still on the IL can't play for your team. wow, would have been tough to put someone not in my lineup onto my IL instead (no idea why - in DJSL and any other league - we're able to manage such stuff like replace a wrong IL guy, but SSBA never get's that done? And in case you assume: NO, I was NOT fine with playing the same lineup losing 7 games last sim AGAIN)# I know it's not your job ... ... but neither it's mine or that of the other simmers and we still do it. :moon: Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: WizardsGM-old3 on August 06, 2008, 02:49:09 PM My team is still hopelessly mediocre, doing just enough to stay in contention but not quite enough to get over the hump. Changes will have to be forthcoming.
Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: BlazersGM on August 06, 2008, 03:17:57 PM Not so great as previous one.
Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: RaptorsGM on August 06, 2008, 04:24:17 PM Wow is the East looking amazing. If everyone maintains their current win percentage then it would take a 52-30 record to get to 7th!
Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: RaptorsGM on August 06, 2008, 04:33:03 PM And I'm not trying to point fingers or be a bastard or anything like that but don't we have fairly strict anti-tanking rules? hard to say the Jazz are icing their best lineup right now...! Under 80 ppg with third overall pick Gatlin sitting on the IR all season? And Mullin seeing little time? Azario too? Seems to me a lineup of Polynice-Gatlin-Walker-Mullin-Azario would do a little better than 79.9ppg
Title: Re: sim 6 done Post by: JazzGM-old2 on August 06, 2008, 05:25:37 PM gatling was out 44 games with injury. I kinda forgot about him. I'll get him in the rotation this sim.
