Lol, I've been checking all night and was about to turn in, and checked one LAST time.  And there it was.

I was kinda surprised to get my 3rd pick as I kinda thought Owens was going #2 leaving me with LJ.  It was a pretty hard choice for me between Gatlin and LJ to begin with, and I wasn't sure if I wanted a too skinny or too short PF on my roster.  But, I guess this way I didn't have to choose, it was decided for me.  I spent 1200$ checking out true potentials for players and Gatlin had the highest of any I surveyed, so I'm hopeful he'll pan out for me in the long run.  I'm not too familiar with true potentials so I don't really know how important they are, but, I"m hoping quite a bit in this case.

as with the jazz, the Hawks made my decision...  I was between Johnson, Owens and Simmons...  After finding out potentials Owens was not in the running...  Happy to get LJ...  That defense improves a little and he could be a stud...

Thrilled to get Simmons.  IMO he is clearly the best player in the draft.  He can play now, but if Bird re-signs, Simmons could take a year playing around 20mpg and come in next year and be the starter.  This was hard for me as I have always been a big Larry Johnson fan.
