Title: sim 12 done Post by: PacersGM on June 27, 2008, 05:03:55 AM finally at full strength my team showed they can play stellar defense and offense. only 1 loss this sim to the hawks by 1 pt.
next are the raptors who are pretty balanced. with all my scorers now healthy i have to find a way to play them as much as possible at their best position. Title: Re: sim 12 done Post by: Str8westcoasta on June 27, 2008, 05:19:52 AM Backed my way into the 2nd seed, not a great final sim but some big 4th quarters kept our head above water
Title: Re: sim 12 done Post by: HawksGM on June 27, 2008, 07:54:56 AM A 6-4 sim and 2 wins over the Heat was enough for the Hawks to get in as the 8th seed, our prize is an almost inevitable sweep against the Cavs.
Title: Re: sim 12 done Post by: MavsGM on June 27, 2008, 11:54:15 AM Got home court for the first round against the Warriors. AKA, the team we cannot beat in the playoffs, also look for Conner to avg triple double against us. :bash:
Title: Re: sim 12 done Post by: NetsGM on June 27, 2008, 12:36:14 PM After some big roster changes, thrilled to end up first in the Atlantic, with the second seed and the third best record in the league. Timmy brought home the ROTY, Dial and Pryz made the second all-d team, and Pryz's solid season (despite the horrid shooting %) was rewarded by getting the nod for the all-league third team.
Ended up in a tie for the second best home record, so that second seeding should really help. It's a bloody awful fate to be in the East having to battle it out with the best team in the league PLUS two playoff hardened squads being right there and who typically have my number - but it is what it is, and should be a great second season. I get a run at the upstart Magic, which should be interesting. Good luck to ya. Quiet last couple of sims, and the Nets are mostly healthy, so I'm looking forward to it. Good to have a couple of days to settle on the depth chart. Title: Re: sim 12 done Post by: Iverson2Korver43 on June 27, 2008, 02:02:19 PM Well what can I say... Finished with the worst record which is no surprise... Still happy with my team... Looking at 2 very nice lotto picks this year if the lotto balls fall my way... My pick is currently #1 and 76ers is #6...
Title: Re: sim 12 done Post by: SonicsGM on June 27, 2008, 02:31:24 PM If only Wedge had been healthy for most of this year. I had such high hopes for this bunch, and we fail to make the playoffs.
Now, several questions arise as this team heads into the offseason: 1. Will Wedge and Magloire re-sign? 2. Is David Greenwood going to remain? 3. Is there any hope?!?!?! My Cavs finished one win short of Boston's 66. Hopefully this series isn't so close as that one was... :?
