Title: sim 2 done Post by: PacersGM on June 04, 2008, 03:04:03 AM still not satisfied with my lineup. howard was injured almost the entire sim and will be in the next as well. orlando and sabonis are possible the best scoring duo in SSBA this season. with virtual no guard scoring it is a wonder that i still can beat quality teams.
Title: Re: sim 2 done Post by: MagicGM on June 04, 2008, 05:38:32 AM LOL.
on to my team, well, pretty glad we're still hanging on. We have a pretty solid team but cutting down the TOs is important Title: Re: sim 2 done Post by: CelticsGM on June 04, 2008, 08:43:44 AM very tough sim for the Celt's with 6 road games ... and the results were a mixed bag of excitement and frustration.
somehow we managed to beat the Pacers AND Cavs (both at full strength) on the road ... and lose at the lousy 76ers and TWolves as well as the Kings, almost all games decided by some narrow margin. Still, the ppg and rpg diff is where i like it, and it's a relief having big men that take it to the basket AND hit their foul shots. 79% on close to 30 FT attempts offsets some of the mediocre shooting from the field. Munson is quietly carrying this team and is mainly responsible for the Celtics leading the Eastern Conference. Keep it up, Jerry, keep it going ... Title: Re: sim 2 done Post by: GoldenStateGM on June 04, 2008, 09:10:07 AM Well, that was a much better sim for the Warriors...
2-5 sim in the 1st sim, and a 3-1 sim in the 2nd sim. Team improved shooting overall with the move back to an outside focus, and the defense improved when Joseph Hughes was put back in as the starting center. Lester Connor apprantyl needs to be an option. 12 ppg and 6.7 apg as a non option, on 42% and 33% shooting. As an option in the oustide offense, he scored 22 ppg, 7.5 apg, 2.0 topg, and an impressive 4.3 spg. Kemp also played much better as a non-option, scoting 12.3 ppg, on 45% shooting. He also pulled down 9.5 rpg in 28 mpg. Taylor Doleac also came back to life, scoring 17 ppg on 51% and 53% shooting. Looks like it is an outside focus for this team... Hopefully they can continue on the roll they are currently on... Title: Re: sim 2 done Post by: SpursGM-old on June 04, 2008, 09:47:31 AM 4-2 sim without my starting PG. But that is deceiving as 5 of the 6 games were against teams that currently sit in the lottery.
At least I can battle the Pacers for the best scoring duo...Barkley and Woodson are the only pair besides Sabonis/Orlando to average over 50 ppg. Next sim is again a light one with 5 of 6 games at home. Then sim 4 with 8 of 9 on the road...looks like I should stay near the top of the west for at least one more sim. :D Title: Re: sim 2 done Post by: RaptorsGM on June 04, 2008, 11:07:56 AM Very relieving sim for the Raptors, going 4-1 after a 2-3 first sim with the only change being Nique to option #1, Blackman to #2. One of 6 teams still unbeaten at home. Of course, the 4 teams we beat this sim were lotto teams, and we got smoked by the C's.
Scored 98.4ppg and gave up 93.6. Against the 4 lotto teams we scored 104.5ppg and gave up 87.3 so that's encouraging, you got to beat those teams to be a contender. Although you should probably try not to lose to the league leaders by 45 :bounce: Stats for the sim... C Greg Kite - 8ppg, 11.8rpg, 2.2bpg --Struggled with consistency which was a theme for every player this sim. Kite had games of 16pts 12 rebs and 14pts 16rebs, but also a game of 0pts 6rebs. Needs to pick up the consistency a bit, I would prefer 8/12/2 every night. PF Kevin Willis - 16.4ppg, 10rpg, 1.4bpg --Consistency again. Had games of 26pts 10rebs and 22pts 16rebs, but also a game of 2pts 5 rebs. Again, if both Kite and Willis would consistently put up their averages we would be a contender. C/PF John Salley - 6.2ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.4bpg --Very fine numbers from my backup including a game of 6pts 12rebs 2blks. SF Dominque "Nique" Wilkins - 26.8ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.2spg --Hell yeah. Much better numbers from Nique, showing he is clearly set out to be a #1 guy. Shot excellent percentages this sim to go along with the much better numbers. SG Rolando Blackman - 11.6ppg, 5rpg, 3spg --Showed his defensive side this sime holding his opponents to decent numbers and percentages. SF/SG Mitchell "Wiggy" Wiggins - 5.8ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.8spg --Excellent bench numbers considering very limited minutes. PG Marcus Kersey - 14.2ppg, 11apg, 2.8topg --Scoring was a bit inconsistent with 29 one night and 6 the next, but asts were double digits every night. Great numbers. Pretty happy overall with the start to the season. Title: Re: sim 2 done Post by: NetsGM on June 04, 2008, 11:25:33 AM Only 8 games to go on in two sims, with a 2-1 record in the second one. Wins against the Bulls and Suns in Jersey, loss to the Pacers in Indy. Loving what Pryz and Fortson are doing, Dial has been phenomenal, MRob solid. Koncak and Majerle are struggling shooting the ball, but are making other contributions - it will help when they shake out of their slumps. I think I might slide Thunder Dan to the bench for a sim, and try something abit different.
Looks to be the end of the MJ era in Jersey - I've enjoyed your stay. I hope the West finds you well (and I hope the other guy hasn't changed his mind, or I have some egg on my face hehe). Title: Re: sim 2 done Post by: MavsGM on June 04, 2008, 06:41:54 PM Much better sim shooting the ball, after .408% shooting in sim one, our FG % went up to .443%.

Title: Re: sim 2 done Post by: MagicGM on June 05, 2008, 05:04:22 AM corzine averaging 5.3 bpg is ridiculous
