Title: sim 8 done Post by: PacersGM on April 25, 2008, 04:40:00 AM only a 5-4 sim but lost all my games with palacio injured.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: NetsGM on April 25, 2008, 07:22:15 AM 6-4 is about right for these guys, some nice wins (Hornets and Celts), and some tough losses (incl. Utah). Pretty happy to come out of 20 in 20 with 13 wins and no major injuries.
Still don't know what to make of this whole group - individual and team performances are yoyo'ish. Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: HornetsGM on April 25, 2008, 08:42:21 AM not a very good sim. I'm considering some changes.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: HawksGM on April 25, 2008, 08:44:02 AM another injury plagued sim with Mullin going down halfway through. If we can ever stay healthy and put together a couple good sim we might get into the playoffs.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: CelticsGM on April 25, 2008, 09:10:54 AM only a 2-4 sim but lost all my games with either Wu or Embry injured.
sounds lame, I know ! Not just mine ... ;-) one a positive not, Kleine had a great sim starting for the first time at PF: 08/11/1(blk) vs. Hornets 11/14/3 vs. Bulls 20/14/2 vs. Rockets, playing Tarpley great 15/07/3 vs. Nets 23/19/4 vs. Suns, fouling out Bailey Tobey in 30 minutes that's an avg of 16ppg/13ppg/2.6bpg ... and 1.2 steals / 2.4 TOs is o.k. too nice find ... Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: MagicGM on April 25, 2008, 09:14:45 AM terrible sim. I need to get my other players involved.

If we can ever stay healthy and put together a couple good sim we might get into the playoffs. yeah, amazing luck with Mullin. You are on a 3-game losing streak with Mully and as soon as he goes down on day 74 you start a 4-game win streak without him. Trade him, NOW !!! :lol2: Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: HawksGM on April 25, 2008, 09:32:09 AM another injury plagued sim with Mullin going down halfway through. The southpaw release is just too smooth to give up. Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: WizardsGM on April 25, 2008, 11:54:29 AM still playing well, still atop the conference; only the hornets have less losses
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: SpursGM-old on April 25, 2008, 01:16:50 PM I have been really busy with real life...what a bummer. :D
The Spurs this year are perfroming up to the expectations of the ownership group. Built to play strong on both ends of the court they are among the team leaders in almost all categories. And have stayed in the fight for the top spot in both our division and conference. However the injury bug has started to settle in. Not major ones like some teams but the smaller nagging ones. Woodson (#1 option & scorer) missed 5 games in the last 2 sims, Laporte missed 6, Lever missed 2 and will be out for the next 6 days (only 3 games thankfully). Schmaltz went down (and is still down) when Laporte was out forcing John WIlliams (SF 23 6'8'' 235 B- C- C- B- C C) into my starting PF role. Still I split with the Hornets with each winning at home...as well as a win over the Cavs and a loss to the streaking Suns. I beat a couple lottery & near lottery teams (Sixers, Sonics); lost to a couple (Pistons, Mavs). Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: NetsGM on April 25, 2008, 01:44:02 PM Hawks certainly look like they have a unique team with that 1-2 inside combo. should be interesting. they'll cause a few matchup probs.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: CelticsGM on April 25, 2008, 02:16:50 PM and lost in all that is the Pistons showing some life around Rikky Smits.
Maybe it were just a few games, but you didn't really miss a beat compared to Sampson times early ... and wasn'T that a major reason to do the deal, get younger, cheaper and not much worse ? Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: PacersGM on April 25, 2008, 02:38:59 PM well the cpu did a good job for the pistons with smits avg. over 20/10 the first 3 games but couldn?t keep that pace in the pistons losses.
hawks also could do way better if they figure out how to use ralph and hakeem. didn?t they also play together for the rockets in nba? Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: CelticsGM on April 25, 2008, 03:51:39 PM yea, the original twin towers ... legendary !
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: RaptorsGM on April 26, 2008, 12:19:48 AM Balls. Lost Kersey and started a bad losing streak...and he's out for another 25 days. Gonna be tough to overcome.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: BlazersGM on April 26, 2008, 06:48:27 AM Complete disaster. Zeke got injured in prolly most important sim of the season. WE've played 9 home games, lost nearly all of them, instead of my projected 6-7 wins sim, we had a 1 home win sim and dropped out of PO's. God dammit, why the hell i lose my most important player in most important sim of the season. Now i just hope we'll suck big time and everyone will get injured and we'll land #1 pick.
Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: BlazersGM on April 26, 2008, 12:18:58 PM Beat Magic, we're on #8, Zeke + O'Neill go down....
we lose AT HOME to Pistons, Cavs, Sonics, Nets, Lakers, Nuggets and away to Suns. Our only win in this sad 2-7 sim comes in OT at HOME to CLIPPERS !! Losing Akeem hurt, but this is the worst possible scenario ive ever seen. Instead of a projected 7-2 or 8-1 sim, without our main player and O'Neill at #7 seed we've slipped to #11, lotto fucking spot and few more days without Zeke. Why the hell that shit happened in a sim where we basically played all home games and had a chance to fortify PO spot. Why it didnt happened previous sim, or next sim ? or just any of 12 regular season sims except THIS ONE !! Title: Re: sim 8 done Post by: Str8westcoasta on April 26, 2008, 01:19:34 PM 6-1 this sim, we're back on track!
Still holding on to that #4 seed in the west, hoping for homecourt... |
