well evan is an interesting pick for the pistons. not sure if he will fit into their style of play.
also drafted a simlar guy before and he never imprved his defense.

Very happy to get Rosow.  I was looking seriously at to Gilliam, Wooten or Rosow.  I didn't get a chance to scout potentials, since I gave up all my $ to get the pick.  I was looking to acquire a pick in the 6-10 range to get Rosow, so I'm very happy to have essentially bought this pick for SSBA cash.

In my experience, guards with good inside scoring usually put up big time points.  It almost never fails.  Looking at the current league, there are only 4 SG's with a better inside scoring (Profit, Keogan, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson).  They average 17 ppg, 32 ppg, 26 ppg and 22 ppg.  So even if his ratings never improve, he should be a big time scorer.  Furthermore, I've found that a guard rarely (if ever) improves his inside scoring as he progresses his career, and outside and defense are the attributes most likely to improve.  So if his potential is true, he should turn himself into a very good all-around player.

Finally, I wanted someone who could contribute now.  Wooten's nice, but it's going to take some time until he can contribute, and I already have a backup big in Wu.  Gilliam can probably contribute right now with a B inside, but I'd rather have a SG with B+ inside than a PF with B inside, and the potential just makes it even moreso.  Last year when I went to an inside focus, the rest of my team suffered.  Now I have someone from the perimeter who can score inside, and I have Blackman and Brice to open up the lane for the two of them.  I was a game away from the finals last year, and I think I got a solid contributor to help me get there next year.

Even wth a bad potential, he will be a very nice scorer.

I like the Rosow pick... Worst case for him is to be a decent scorer off the bench.

My schedule was to busy to make a draft pick. What a waste of the #19 pick, especially because I could have gotten Anderson.

What does picked by committee mean, as opposed to CPU?

I love Ilgauskas' size at the SG position ... 6'7'' 220lbs.

He already has solid defense, and the makings of a nice outside shot.

Let's just hope that potential is correct.

In the past we've found the computer is, well, horrible at drafting.  The tipping point was the computer selecting Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley and John Stockton.  So, for teams who are now CPU controlled at the time of the draft, rather than let the CPU pick for the team, we find 3 GM's from the opposite conference who don't have a first round pick and form a committee.
