Title: rd3 done Post by: PacersGM on January 19, 2008, 03:49:39 AM well nuggets lead their series 3-0.
i am down 1-2 but could have been also 3-0 up with a little luck. lost game 2 and 3 by 1 point :-( Howard, newcomb and adams are dominating ralph and munson. brice is having fun with my guards so far. Game 1 was too good to be true. destroyed the pistons by 30 with great ball movement. both my guards recored double digit assists and the team recorded only 7 TOs. After this game my team stopped moving the ball and also wasn't ready in the first quarter the next 2 games. i think we need a team meeting (not a bulls kind of one :bash:)to get back on track. Title: Re: rd3 up Post by: WizardsGM on January 19, 2008, 09:48:18 AM Games 1 and 2 at home were close ones, but game 3 in GState was a bit of a blow out. Evans vs Barton is fun to watch. The odds are in my favor, but I am not garaunteeing anything because I have seen FBB do this one too many times. I hope we can nab one more, and the sooner the better.

Hey, it is not even close right now... You have done a great job putting that team together. Just want a win or two, to look like the series was respectable... You just have too many great offensive players for me to be able to defend them all... Title: Re: rd3 up Post by: PacersGM on January 19, 2008, 02:05:01 PM again a game 7 series for my team. this time i think it was adams who made the big difference. lost only 1 game by more than 1 point and won my games with solid defense.
nuggets are next who are a complete different team. might change my strategy. @nuggets finals will be done during one day this time. so it will be only 12 hours between sims. if you have troubles wiht it let me know. Title: Re: rd3 done Post by: NetsGM on January 19, 2008, 02:47:48 PM Nice to see that one of the teams I managed this year made it to the finals.
Title: Re: rd3 done Post by: WizardsGM on January 19, 2008, 03:01:12 PM Well my minor DC tweak paid off (Evans to 1st option, Magic to 2nd, Collins to 3rd). Congrats to the Warriors, but glad I can move onto the finals. Not entirely excited about playing a recent champ and Dwight Howard. Not sure how I am going to do my DC either....(and does Pacers send his to me too?).
Doing it all in one day is what I prefer, Pacers, so by all means. Stats: C: Kleine - 8.4/9.8/1.4/1.0/0.8 PF: Borgmann - 9.6/10.2/1.8/1.0/2.6 SF: Collins - 15.2/5.2/1.8/2.2 SG: Magic - 20.0/6.2/4.0/2.0 PG: Evans - 26.0/6.4/8.2/0.6 subs: Fuqua - 8.0/6.2 OKoren - 7.0/5.0/2.6/1.8 Zollner - 5.4/6.8 Title: Re: rd3 done Post by: PacersGM on January 19, 2008, 03:12:50 PM you will get mine DC today.
Title: Re: rd3 done Post by: WizardsGM on January 19, 2008, 03:19:48 PM Is it possible that i play both my C and PF on Dwight? :lol2:
Title: Re: rd3 done Post by: PacersGM on January 19, 2008, 03:24:55 PM shouldn't be a problem. i would love to watch the dunking contest newcomb would have with that strategy
if you don't know what i mean watch the first quarter of hornets against bobcats in real nba :-) Title: Re: rd3 done Post by: GoldenStateGM on January 19, 2008, 04:58:25 PM Congratulations, Mavs...
Got one win, with a DC change... We were able to shut down Don Collins, but Evans was really the key. Barton just could not defend him... Impressive, Go Nuggets!!!! Title: Re: rd3 done Post by: NetsGM on January 19, 2008, 05:13:57 PM meh. Crisis at work kept me from looking at the game 1-3 results, much less make any modifications. Ah well. I'll spend the offseason wondering what could have been.
Title: Re: rd3 done Post by: CelticsGM on January 19, 2008, 07:30:06 PM well, if anyone ever wonders how big of a signing Timothy Adams was for the Pacers, it's been answered. There's no way they would have beaten the Pistons without him
(just one more "what could have been" question for the offseason) congrats to both finals participants ... |
