Only a five game sim, with some odd things happening - the least desirable of which is sitting 3rd in the division and 6th in the coference.

First off, lost to the Sonics in Jersey - coughing up a big lead  :bash:

Then, lost to the Pistons by a mittful after ex-Net Jeremy Munson slew-footed Bailey Tobey.

Without the big guy, we lost to the Grizz in MEM by seven. Not a good start to the week.....

Beat the Suns in PHX - Palacio took matters into his own hands - he's a nice matchup problem.

Beat the Pacers in Jersey after Tobey's return.

Cliffy is much happier at the 4 than the 3 and played better. Tobey is studly anywhere. Palacio fit in just nicely with 18.4ppg in 24.6mpg, with a nice a:to ratio. Hopefully the fellas can put a nice little win streak together and get comfortable just in time for the playoffs.

you can?t be serious.
getting 18 points from a backup is just ridicolus. But i am sure TOM will have some words for this performance.

Most of his #'s came from the two games he started when Tobey was hurt. Off the bench, he fit in nicely.

Very nice start with the new additions. Won our first 5 games, all at home, but an average of 20 points (including a 48 point drubbing of the Clippers), then lost on the road to the Bucks. Hard to get a guage on Fuqua as he was injured in his 2nd game, but I like the looks of the stats while he played. Evans keeps getting jipped out of player of the week awards. Its amazing how much better he is in a fast offence than a slow one.

Collins seemed to fit in seamlessly as first option with the new club. He shot 46.7% from the field and 56.5% from downtown and only committed 1.2 turnovers.

Stats:

C: Kleine - 7.7/10.7/1.8/0.8/1.0 (28.7min)

PF: Borgmann - 9.7/7.5/0.8/1.2/1.5 (28.2min)

SF: Collins - 19.2/6.3/1.7/1.3/0.2 (33.2min)

SG: Magic - 22.5/7.8/4.3/1.7/3.2to (35.2min)

PG: Evans - 26.7/5.3/11.0/1.7/3.7to (40.3min)

sub: Fuqua - 13.5/9.5/1.0/0.5/1.0 (24.5min)

sub: Zollner - 7.5/6.7/0.7/1.2/1.3 (22.3min)

sub: O'koren - 7.7/5.2/1.5/1.0 (23.7min)

5-3 sim, beat the Pacers, One of the losses was against the Pistons where Swift seems to have gotten lost on the way to the area or something, so Stocker was playing against Sampson all game.

Upped the pace to very fast and the boys responded with a 4-3 sim , scoring 100.9 to opponent's 96.6. Too bad nobody could stay on the court - not very promising of future success at very fast.

Willis @ C - 26.4mpg, 13.4ppg, 9.1rpg, 0.7apg, 0.7spg, 1topg, 0.3bpg

--These numbers would be more acceptable if Pryz was still playing and could still back him up...but this is not the case, so I'm gonna need to slow things down to let Willis to his thing.

Buck @ PF - 30.4mpg, 16ppg, 12.7rpg, 2.1apg, 0.7spg, 3.1topg, 1.9bpg

--These kind of turnovers in that many minutes is unacceptable from my star big man. Same deal with Willis, just not ready to play at such a fast pace.

Sanders @ SF - 36.4mpg, 8ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.6apg, 2.3spg, 1.3topg, 1.1bpg

--Ok, so Sanders can def. play at the faster pace...these numbers far surpass is numbers from last sim. And he showed great consistency staying on the court, playing 34+ minutes in each of the 7 games.

Schader @ SG - 35.1mpg, 9.9ppg, 3rpg, 2.1apg, 2.6spg, 3.1topg, 1bpg

--Was able to stay on the court like Sanders, but numbers that are far below is season averages, and waaay too many turnovers.

Person @ PG - 33.7mpg, 25.6ppg, 8rpg, 5.6apg, 1.4spg, 4.4topg, 0.2bpg

--Ok, so scoring-wise, Person loved the faster pace, but he couldn't share the ball to guys who weren't able to stay on the court.

odd sim.  I had very good wins @pacers and @ spurs, as well as at home vs the nets and mavs.  Then I had 3 weird losses @cavs, @76ers (1 pt), @knicks (1 pt).  Shoulda been a great sim.

I added a new starter, myles Greiner.  He played well.  11.6 ppg, 4 rpg, 1.8 apg, 2 spg, only 0.7 topg.  held his man to 41% shooting.

I also changed the focus to balanced, and that had mixed results.  Scoring for Brice and Blackman, although their efficiency went throught he roof (Brice shot 63.6% from 3, and Blackman 50% from the field and 48% from 3).

Oddly, it seems whenever my focus is inside or balanced, my rebounding dropped off.  That was my big problem this sim, at -3 per game.

I also changed my trap and press settings to always.  I have a ton of ballhacks on this team, and forced 12 steals per game, and had a +3 turnover differential.

Got a lot of tinkering to do with the lineup.  But I think I had a starting 5 I'm happy with, and have solid bench players as well (strait, wu, pressley, artest).

Won the first four games and lost the next three.  We played better D this sim but turned the ball over too much. :bash:

sim 8
that's when Uncle Cliffy will move to the bench till 2025.

Horrible trade for the Lakers. 3 stiffs and an ugly pick in the low 20ies ... and they do in fact pay $270 on top. A joke ...

thats what i said ... and it looks like Palacio is about to make my announcement look awesome, as the Nets can't afford to start Cliffy much longer after harldy playinf .500 ball for 4 straight sims.

3-1 for the Celtics. 1st in Atlantic. Like every year.
