Donyell with the MLE.
Raps are very happy to get Erving back for just a min cotnract. Nets, I wanted Battier BAD. Damn. Still lots of good players left. Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: NetsGM on April 01, 2005, 11:32:30 PM Oops.
The Celtics didn't sign any of those players. In fact, he never even sent me any offersI made a mistake. I'm going to place them back in the free agency pool. So if you had offers to Marshall, Moiso or Lindsey Hunter, please pm them to me again. Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: NetsGM on April 01, 2005, 11:40:18 PM And yes, I'm psyched.
Shane was my #1 target in free agency. Absolute #1. My SF was surrounded by Okafor and Pettit, 2 20 ppg scorers. What did I need? - Someone who could play lockdown defense on swingment. - Someone who could hit from the outside, spacing the lane for Pettit to drive and Okafor to operate in the paint. - Someone who wasn't going to mess up. - Someone who wasn't going to require a lot of touches, but be efficient. So what did I get: - A defense. Giving me an A, A- (with A potential), A frontcourt defensively. - 34.2% outside shooter, and if I had to guess an attribute Shane would use his B potential on it would be that one (he won't improve defensively). - More steals than TO's - Shoots 45%, 35% from downtown. 50 wins here I come. Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: BullsGM-old on April 01, 2005, 11:52:36 PM Hmm, probably should have offered MLE to House on the second day, I might have been able to get someone better...
Meh, House has good ratings, hes just really small. Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: LakersGM-old on April 02, 2005, 12:17:56 AM Dang lol, I was hoping, my S&T deal would go through on the 1st day or not so id know what id do. But it doesnt matter now, lol since all of the guys i was going to make offers to are gone, and i was going to offer pachulia more and watson more, o well.
Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: NetsGM on April 02, 2005, 12:19:37 AM Why would you wait until after the s&t went through to make these offers?
Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: MagicGM on April 02, 2005, 12:25:44 AM there goes my cap...
Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: LakersGM-old on April 02, 2005, 12:58:56 AM because the S&T affects what i would be able to offer these guys.
Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: LakersGM-old on April 02, 2005, 01:00:43 AM You see, i couldnt offer the offers i wanted to with the S&T deal, so i was hoping id know the outcome of that deal on the 1st day while hoping the two guys i wanted would still be available. It just didnt work out.
Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: HornetsGM on April 02, 2005, 01:20:19 AM man, I didn't even know that we were running FA yet. Guess I just lost track b/c I didn't have any draft picks. Oh well...

Wow, Magic, that's a hughe contract for Woods. I hope he works out, beucase he will be impossible to trade. Decent price for Mobley though. Look at Zaza Pachulia vs Loren Woods. C+ D+ D- B+ B D -Zaza C+ D+ D- B+ B D -Woods :) Exact same ratings, slightly different contracts. And I cannot believe Bo Outlaw snubbed my 1 million for the sonics 1 million. Offers extend to day 2, right? Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: HawksGM on April 02, 2005, 10:17:10 AM damn, i really wanted earl watson, sonics got a nice pickup there
Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: Str8westcoasta on April 02, 2005, 10:19:18 AM Hunter Summitt eh?
Here's hoping that his potential is higher than stated. If some of those C+'z turn to a B- he could be useful... It just didnt work out. No, I don't see. In the proposed s&t deal both of you sent me, you're matching salary. So had you spent your 6.2 million in cap room, the trade still would have worked. Raps: yes, offers extend to day 2. And what's the big deal of Summitt with the LLE? It's a 1 year, no risk contract. Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: RaptorsGM on April 02, 2005, 04:44:12 PM Well, there are a whole slew of good players, I personaly think a better player would sign with the Rockets for the LLE.
Title: Day 1 Free Agency Results Post by: Str8westcoasta on April 02, 2005, 06:05:28 PM Let's just hope someone useful takes my LLE... :(
