3 - 2 for the Rockets

Some nice improvements, Otis Thorpe was excellent off the bench. Larry Drew plays better as a starter and Carlos Tower plays better off the bench... perfect!

I think we can really push for a playoff spot this year... hopefully!

6-1 sim, finally starting to play how I thought we would.  Sidney Green is emerging as a good inside presence.  My only loss was to my 2nd favorite team the Nuggets, because of Money Mike and George Johnson, I want them to win the title, if it isn't me obviously.

Celtics went 4-2 with their experimental lineup - lost to Nets and even to the Hawks, thanks to Schabi pulling out one of those games he has twice a season ... and the Celtics still made up ground on the 5-4 Nets and 2-3 Heat. Oh yes, sweet ...

Quincy at PF was better than expected, especially on the defensive end, holding opponents to a surprising 15ppg while getting 20/7 himself. Wedge is a better fit at SF i guess, his shooting % goes up there tremendously.

(btw, even in the two losses we were leading the Nets by 11 at the break and the Hawks too, so I guess I can feel good about that team)

Rough sim.  Played some very tough competition to start the sim.  Pacers (W), @Celtics (L), @Nets (L), Hornets (W).  Splitting that stretch I don't have a problem with.  Then went on and won two road games (@76ers and @Blazers), but then lost one at home against the pacers.  Ended up with a 4-3 sim, which isn't bad considering the competition, but the loss to the Pacers at home kinda puts a downer on it.

The team didn't get the job done defensively.  Even Munson, who had been playing at DPOY caliber all year struggled this sim, although going up against Dwight twice and Bailey Tobey will do that.  Sampson and Munson struggled a bit offensively, Sampson being held to 23.7 and 13.5.  He went down with a broken nose in the Blazers game, and we didn't even compete against the pacers (who we beat earlier in the sim).

Not a bad sim, considering the competition, but it could have been better.

Brice does continue to amaze me.  17.3 ppg, 10.3 apg, 3 spg, only 2 topg.  He just continues to play tremendous basketball at his age, and is probably the key right now.

Stats from the 4-0 sim (3-0 on the road):

C: Kleine - 7.0/10.0/0.8/1.0/1.5/53%
PF: Borgmann - 9.3/5.5/1.5/0.8/1.5/44%
SF: Xavier - 7.3/6.7/1.7/1.0/0/53%/33%
SG: Magic - 21.5/8.5/5.0/1.8/0.3/43%/24%
PG: Evans - 28.0/4.8/9.8/1.8/54%/56%/3.0to

Zollner put up 8.8/7.5/1.3/1.5/1.5/53% off the bench, and OKoren put up 13.8/6.3/2.8/1.5 in 30min off the bench (started the first game).

I am very pleased with our road record. It is usually our downfall but we are 15-3 on the season on the road.

Thanks to the Nets for adjusting when needed for injuries.

5-0, 4 of them on the road.  Can't do any better than that.

Looks like the guys like the fast pace, outside focus.

Final sim for Jeremy Palacio, Russ Charles and Marcus Kersey in a Mavs uniform was a good one, as we went 5-1.  Still giving up too many points, the addition of Pressey should help.

Well, Christmas is done and Jesus has not Risen  :lmao: The Grizzlies will continue to compete but are realistic enough to see that they are staying home during playoff time :bods:

Well, I never would have predicted that:

Without Milner: 3-2, big wins against BOS and DET in Jersey.

With Milner: 2-2, beat the Warriors in Jersey, lost to them in GS.

Underwhelming 5-4. Bradley really stepped up his scoring in Milner's absence, and since noone else has taken the job and run with it, he'll get a crack at being third option.

Still haven't found just the right DC yet....though it's clear that Curry and Walker are not yet ready for big roles. Bailey is making a case for MVP, and Milner is leading the league in assists - though its tight at the top.
