Guess the destruction of the Kings is nearly done.

I signed Chambers from them, and the cpu picked two backup SG with their MLE and LLE. This after already losing Sleepy Floyd, Shireman and Eddie Crawford for nothing.

I think you can do worse than Tom Chambers as backup big man. So Celtics are set, the rest of the improvement will come through the TC ... and trades !

Happy enough to land "Thunder" Nick Majerle- an interesting prospect with good size and no bad ratings....his only problem is that he doesn't have any good ones either....

There's one FA out there still that I like, but I don't know if it's worth it to make a move on him....I rather wish he would have taken my LLE offer before Nick did, but who knows if he would or would have.

Ah well, I'll decide later on.

Hiscock is mycock now. I really needed some PG with good handles as none of my mine have.

Hell be better in Portland. Hell most likely be a starter unless some of my PGs explode in TC and get at least B+ handles.

Happy to get Shabby back, gives me another TC for Drazen to develop into the stud I hope he becomes. He has a long way to go though.

Wow, glad Darren Rice finally signed with me...  Was getting very nervous about bringing him back into the fold.

He was at the very top of my wish list.  I wish I had cap space this year.

I really was not willing to pay him anymore then he got.
Alot of GM's I respect have been interested in him...

I'm not sure I would have paid much more for him than he got, but he fit my team extremely well.  I was looking for someone who could hit open 3's, defender like a mother, rebound a little bit, and not turn the ball over.  I was hoping he was a potential MLE signee, but I knew you'd sign him back.

I was just surprised he took so long to sign...  I had given him similiar but different offers every other day as well....

I'm very very very surprised some of the teams with cap space didn't go hard after Rice. Behind Buck and LaSalle for me he was the grand price this FA. Sure, not worth anything close to max, but there's no way you should have gotten him for $6 mill

... especially when I see the Hiscock going for 9+ mill

Good job .. and lucky one, too.
:-)

Well, hoepfully he will improve his shooting percentages this year, and be worth his contract :)
