Too bad the contracts wouldn't have worked out.
Anyway, I think Bee really fills out my roster. 3 out of my 4 2nd rounders have "A" potential, so if they don't work out, they can always be included in the 12 trades I'm bound to make this season. :) Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: RaptorsGM on March 30, 2005, 07:19:37 AM So both of the Blazer's picks were CPUs.
Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: GoldenStateGM on March 30, 2005, 08:45:32 AM I am thrilled with these picks.
Hector Strom is a tall, thin center with B- defense and C+ rebounding, and A potential. Plus, he is only 20 years old. If he has a couple years of potential in him, he could be a nice defensive player. Nickolas Kamens is a 6'3" point guard who already has B+ defense and A potential, and is only 20 years old. If his handling goes up a bit in training camp, he will eventually be a nice back-up to Hinrich. Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: BullsGM-old on March 30, 2005, 08:56:27 AM Wow, Conradt was another solid CPU pick, Blazers lucked out. Also, Bee was a steal at this point.

That is not exactly the category I want my SF to be strongest in... The CPU has doen quite well in picks so far.. Impressive. Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: NetsGM on March 30, 2005, 09:11:09 AM Dang, I really wanted one of Bee, Chamderlain, Strom or Wyss to fall.
Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: CavsGM on March 30, 2005, 11:09:34 AM Some pretty decent players are still left, like Eddie Crotty, Rob Benoit and Marco McCloud. I don't know who to pick.

Handling is awesome - the last thing I want is for my SF to come in third string and turn it over a bunch. Well, true... But that is all he can do... Don't get me wrong, I liked Bee... but he just has an odd skillset... If he could play the point, he would be incredible... Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: RaptorsGM on March 30, 2005, 01:00:33 PM Well, I would experiment him at point, but with Cassell, Lovelette and Ellis, I don't need anymore PGs.
Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: NetsGM on March 30, 2005, 01:04:57 PM With an A potential Bee has the potential to be competent offensively and defensvely (he's not that far from competent now).
Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: RaptorsGM on March 30, 2005, 01:09:07 PM Yeah Yeah Yeah.
Hey, if anyone wants him, make an offer. My trade finger is itching. It's been 18 hours.... He has a C in and C out offensively... C+ inside... Now, from all the conversations that have gone on about potential (being a newbie I am still learning), the odds of him getting to B- and B- would be pretty small.. C+ defensively... lucky to get to a B, max... Now, a player who is B-, B-. B-, B, C- is not bad, in fact he is almost perfectly average in every way... But what are the odds? Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: RaptorsGM on March 30, 2005, 01:13:31 PM The odds are good enough to give him a 2 year contract worth 800K. :)
Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: NetsGM on March 30, 2005, 01:15:30 PM I wouldn't be surprised to see Bee end up as a C+, B- offensively with B- handles and B defense. That would be a net improvement of +5 over his years.
Borderline Starter/Great bench player. Not sure what more you want out of this part of the draft. Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: RaptorsGM on March 30, 2005, 01:18:14 PM Exactly. 2nd Rounders are so much better than late firsts.

Sounds suspicously like Mike Dunleavy... and I traded him away... Title: With the 11th-21st picks of the 2nd round Post by: CavsGM on March 30, 2005, 06:05:30 PM Quote from: GoldenStateGM Quote from: CavsGM Some pretty decent players are still left, like Eddie Crotty, Rob Benoit and Marco McCloud.
