Blazers agree. Our legend is back in town, hopefully he and Buehler now with their experience can shake this team up.

Blazers in full retro mode.

whatever future they had, it's gone now ... so they better win a title this year.

I like this deal for very basic reasons:

- Need depth at PG
- Need defense wherever I can get it
- Tower can play PG/SG/SF
- Phelps plays 7 mins...

Its more sentimental feelings, Buehler and Phelps are the 2 guys i liked the most since i got into this league. I had to trade them to try and win, i won, but ever since i wanted them back, and now at least i want them to retire in Blazers uniform, cause i know their hearts always belong here hehehe. And hopefully theyll be able to retire with big style, with another ring, altough that part is more SF then reality.

That has got to be the dumbest justification for doing a trade :screwy:

Im not THAT DUMB ! heheh, i wouldnt do C- C- for A+ guy trade for "sentimental" reason. Its a trade i did because of "emo reasons" but also because i think those 2 guys can help a lot, they fit perfect into my system just like they did before. However, emotinal reasons prevailed to finish those deals easily. Whatever.

now that sentimental thing is fine with me.

you can't always play for a title, and rebuilding with kids (who hardly pan out) isn't fun either, so that makes perfectly sense. It's it's not like the Blazers too on big long term salaries here ...
