Title: Re: Raptors and Sonics Trade (Day 51) Post by: HornetsGM on October 27, 2007, 10:36:35 AM Damnit. I wish I had made a play for Ransey now that it looks like he could have been had for expirings.
Title: Re: Raptors and Sonics Trade (Day 51) Post by: RaptorsGM on October 27, 2007, 11:13:58 AM Thought this was a great trade for the Raps.
Leaves us super-thin at the 2-3 but Mike, Buck and Kelvin make a fantastic 3 headed monster..and will for years and years to come. I know from experience, the Buck/Kelvin combo isnt all its cracked up to be. I know from experience, the Buck/Kelvin combo isnt all its cracked up to be. That was a while ago. Both players are superior now. I'm not too worried about it. 3 guys that can easily score 22 plus. Plus without Ransey, I might have a decent pick (Sonics) to get a SF which I'm going to need. not exactly striking fear into the Eastern Conference ... Title: Re: Raptors and Sonics Trade (Day 51) Post by: WizardsGM on October 27, 2007, 04:08:26 PM Thought this was a great trade for the Raps. Title: Re: Raptors and Sonics Trade (Day 51) Post by: HornetsGM on October 27, 2007, 05:10:15 PM Ransey has been super effective at the 2. Everyone else has played him at pg.
Title: Re: Raptors and Sonics Trade (Day 51) Post by: CelticsGM on October 27, 2007, 05:13:01 PM but i can't believe his cock is going to start PG ...
:lol2: Title: Re: Raptors and Sonics Trade (Day 51) Post by: SonicsGM on October 27, 2007, 05:51:15 PM Sonics take a gamble here, losing a player with great talent. But in a league full of PGs, and with two solid ones still on the roster, Ransey wasn't a necessity.
Plus, getting Swift's contract (he has become a backup on this team) off the books will help the future of this ballclub.
