yea, it's cool guys. that really will guarantee the Magix next title.

but jokes aside, I really love the spirit of the Pacers. Their 9 signed guys have a payroll of 84+ million already (that's another 3.43 mill to spend before the hard cap), in order to get to 12 players.

Of course they will deliberately exceed the hard cap, losing one lousy pick in the late 1st round hardly matters for that one goal, and it can't be accomplished without going over.

Their frontcourt now is Newcomb and Dwight (plus 6'7" D+ rebounding rookie Rogers), but the backcourt with LBJ, Shultz and Butler (all at least 34 yrs of age) rock solid. No depth beyond Lopez and Aguirre, but hey, we still got 3.4 mill to throw around.

Fellow GMs, we're in for a phantastic lab experiement here, and we all got frontrow seats to watch and enjoy. The sky's the limit for that bunch if health prevailes, and a lottery spot guaranteed if not. Honestly, that makes following them next season pretty exciting.

And i'm sure we'll work out our differences and make SSBA a happy universe again ... just not sure when.

(btw, the 8-player payroll for next year is 91 mill already -before retirements, but i'm sure they'll find a way out of that mess.)

DonĀ“t worry. At worst all my starters are injured for too much time to make the POs, but i would have my own pick and another year to try to win a title. But i like my chances this year.

well there is enough time to get that done, so no need to worry for me this season.

your starting lineup totals 160 years of age, so stating "i would have another year ..." get's at least an 85 on the unintentional comedy scale.

But again, I'm starting to enjoy this, and i'm starting to like that my deal was denied, I doubt I would have accumulated a title worthy team anyway, so watching you win 87 games in the next 174 days of action will do it. (Wedge is a tad expensive now, but hey, you know how it is with prearranged deals ...)

I think this is a better trade for the Magic anyway, for rebuilding purposes, which is what trading Dwight is all about.
