First, big LOL at Clement, he stepped in for injured Crawford.

4 games, 1 triple double and 3 missed triple doubles just because his offense sucked so he couldnt get over 10 pts.

But thats really sick. Lets see next sim as 2nd option if he can continue to be that sick.

fuck 2-5 sim, two starters out with long-term injurys. Our season is fucked now. Even Kings broke their
doom against us and finally won a game.

Only bright thing that happened was Clements triple double 13pts, 12rebs, 10ast against Jazz. He was
substituting injured Eddie and Telf, pretty impressive. In that game we lost Tower as well for 44 days.

Clement is pretty sick at PG, in next games he almost had 2 more triple,

10 rebs, 12 assists but he was bed on offense, just 7 pts.

10 rebs, 11 assists but again failed on offense, just 8 pts.

Hakeem continues to shine, but he cant do it all by himself.

You have a big mouth for someone who was being swept by my team on several playoff occasions.

I was swept just once actually, and that happened some 8 seasons ago (i believe that was your last PO season), and that happened while ive played without Hoffa and another starting guy.

Nope, when you had Hoffa i lost 4-2 against you. I have all files, i can check it really if you want.

Anyway, theres nothing wrong with my strategy, ill get another great player in draft, i have 3 more players on which i can count for future. And not to mention ill have some 30+ cap space again to try and land someone like Macy this year.

My strategy is perfect but unfortunately there are some things i just can't control (for example why are dozens of my top picks only good in reachin the new highs of suckiness?).

Anyway, i found a GM that wants in, i told him to talk to bods when bods gets online. He is the most active GM i know, he basically lives on computer 20h per day. So if bods wants him in, well have a newGM today probably.

I rebuilt, then made the playoffs, now im rebuilding again.

I'm on the verge of making the playoffs even though I am rebuilding, and in my 5-6 seasons here I have made the playoffs more than you. End of discussion.

Buck did his usual stuff: 21.9/14.0/2.7/1.1/1.1

Green was OK but doesnt appear to have any stamina: 14.9/8.6/1.1/1.1/1.4

Vaught did nothing really: 6.7/4.4/2.4/1.4/0.9

Snow dishes it out: 6.0/4.4/8.1/2.3 with 3.4to

4-2 sim. At first sight looks good for a team 10 games below .500, but then again, those 4 wins came against non-playoff teams, and one of the losses gave the 22-win Suns their 6th road voctory of the year. YIKES ...

It looks like this will be another season where too little happens much too late.

And the only questions remaining are
 - whether a project can help me more than a future 1st.
 - wheter Tyler wouldn't be happier wearing a different uni where he can play for a title
 - wheter my young guys shouldn't get more of an audition

Hmmm...  Moderately revealing sim...

Mad Max was out, so Darren Rice started 4 games.  After playing brilliantly as a back-up, I was hoping he would truly showcase his skills in a starting roll...

The good...
He was not shy about shooting, taking an average of 13 shot per game.
He is a great ball thief, averaging 3.5 steals per game.
Good rebounder at the SG spot, averaging 6.5 rebounds per game.
Averaged 4 FT/game, and hit 100%...  very nice.

The bad...
Horrendous shooting percentage...  31% from the field, and even worse from 3.
1:1.5 A:to ratio...

Conclusion...  he has potential to be starter, but not yet.  Another season or two of experience as a back-up, and he should be ready...

If I could just combine Dylan Petit's rebounding and steals with Tyson Thurmond's shotblocking, I would have a DPOY candidate.   :D

LOL. True, he is, he is a special case. Annoying and rude, completely insane, but he is most super hiper mega active guy around, and he asked me about a spot so i did recommend him, he is a special case, i hate him, but we need a active and good GM which he actually is, so i told him to apply.

....and well, Tom can explain better then me about his case, he is not normal, no one can stand him, but he is a good GM, his only defect is that he annoys everyone LOL.

Well, I disagree that he's a good GM too.  He max'd out Evans and Pietrus (who was a waiver wire player in that league) in one offseason.  Frankly I don't think he has a clue. 

And he's an ass.

I'm not just looking to fill a spot, but fill it with a quality GM and a quality person.  I don't think he fits either.  In fact, he's the primary reason I left DJSL.

At least he has assembled an unbelievable good young team in those 4-5 seasons, mostly with one-sided trades in his favor. I was shaking my head too about hi2 "concepts" but i have to confess he knows far far more about this league and it's players than i do.

So his GM skills's are darn good ... just as much as his behaviour is (or was) the opposite.

Well i wouldn't know about that, i was in your league for like 6-7 seasons and he was always like dead last.

he had lost any interest in the league because he hated everything tom did to prevent his stupid ideas.
but since last season he was the most active guy in DJSL and there is almost no trade currently going on without him being involved.
he has now a team of payton, kemp, shaq, bird and several very good prospects all around 25 or under. his team has even more talent than the hornets here.
so even i have to admit that he did a good job in the last 2 seasons with his team, i would never accept him here. he is the most annoying guy i ever met in the sim world and he can´t control his temper or mind.

ok, to get that straight, it's partly my fault his Sonics were that bad.

That one FA period 7 seasons ago he sent a careless PM offering "max" deals to scrubs like Petro and Pietrus. From what i know now he wanted 1yr max deals, but i didn't check back and gave then 7yr max deals. This set him back for years and years, especially after losing 2 1st for exceeding the hard cap (which came into effect 2 seasons later).

His only fault (apart from that one offer) was his constant refusal to get some money and buy out those contracts. His stubborness in that regard prolonged the rebuilding process for 5,6 seasons, but he's on the right track now.


The rest of the stuff, his behaviour, might have something to do with where he's from, but that's not my business. Some anger management might help, since he tends to explode at the slightest reason, (and it's not funny what he posts then), but in general he's a good guy, always looking to talk league stuff and players values.

Umm, Bird, Gervin, Cheeks, GP, Alvan Adams  -- All of those guys were Sonics' draft picks or came from trading away Sonics' draft pics right? I find it hard to say that a guy is a great GM when he just basically sat at the bottom of the league for 6+ years collecting lotto 1sts.

Plus he's really a total dickhead. I've never seen a guy with less respect for a commissioner. Tom, he's bitched at you, and he's bitched at Maarin more times than I can count, and he's never said anything like, "thanks for running this league and keeping it going for so long."
