Title: regular season finished Post by: PacersGM on July 25, 2007, 03:54:58 AM Some big surprises...
thanks to an unexpected break down of the celtics we have a 3way tie in the east for first place. no idea how FBB decided the seeding ... :? Thanks to a large part of home games i could overtake the cavs but also getting celtics and nets was really a big surprise... PO should be really entertaining in the east this year. my fav matchup is cavs vs, magic in the first round wow... Please send the PO DCs to me. This year we will make a small change. I will sim the first 3 games and after that everyone has the chance to submit changes in the next 12 hours. This should give everyone a fair chance. Schedule will be normal. Each day 1 round. I will send my DC to bods and as usual i will only look into the DC pms right before i will sim. Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: WizardsGM on July 25, 2007, 06:53:10 AM Finished up the season surprisingly strong with a 6-4 record, possibly dashing the Celtics' 1st seed hopes along the way.
Buck earned 2nd Team honours, and 1st Team Defence, with Green making 2nd Rookie team. Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: WizardsGM on July 25, 2007, 07:22:04 AM Last sim stats:
Buck avg 19.5/12.8/2.2 on 47.5% shooting Green played 29min off the bench and put up very solid numbers - 15.9/10.1/1.9/1.1/0.6 on 54.5% shooting McHale drifted - looks like he prefers PF to SF. 11.4/5.8 in 27min - a far cry from the 19/8 he put up as PF, altho he was a non option this time too Stocker was solid avg 15.6/8.9 on 53.6% shooting, but I dont like the 2.2 turnovers as non option Started Teagle and made him 3rd option to see what he can do. Put up 10/4/4 on 44.4% shooting, 38% from 3 with a fantastic 2.6 steals. However the steals are a bit negated by the 2.8 turnovers. Perry was a bit of an upgrade statistically on Prantmair, but he did seem to make everyone else better. 9.5/3.5/8.3 for himself. Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: HawksGM on July 25, 2007, 09:35:49 AM can we find out who we play? that might affect my DC a little bit.
Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: WolvesGM-old2 on July 25, 2007, 09:54:42 AM Didn't make the playoff, which im a bit dissapointed aboput after my late season push.
Gatling made all league 2nd team though Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: CelticsGM on July 25, 2007, 11:13:57 AM I can't believe a conference leading team winning 53 games so far can lose 5 of 6 against so-so competition with an unchanged DC and no injury, but it happened, for whatever reason.
now facing the hawks, clearly the best imaginable opponent for us this season, and on a weak streak themselves. So let the games begin. Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: SixersGM on July 25, 2007, 11:18:23 AM So which team should I start sweeping? hahahaha
Damn.. I'd be lucky if I escape 1st round. Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: BlazersGM on July 25, 2007, 11:40:30 AM Champions finished last LOL.

So let the games begin. as dumb as it may sound, even though you've clearly been the best team in the EC this season, I wanted you, I hope to give you a fight this series, I'm gonna have to try some new tricks to throw you off but I feel I have a chance. Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: JazzGM-old on July 25, 2007, 12:26:31 PM an injury riddled season ended on some high notes with Uner getting 1st team all-defense and Dial earning 2nd team nods. Also as a team, I beat my own record of 11.8 spg in a season to 12.1 this year. I also lucked out a little with my first round matchup wih the grizz as Lord is out for 3 days. I really don't know what to expect out of my team this year...I haven't seen my whole squad play together for any stretch of time to really know what we can string together. I do feel I have the depth, the experience, and the defense to go far.
Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: GoldenStateGM on July 25, 2007, 01:02:27 PM Great end to the season, ending with a 5-0 last sim, and ending with a 63-19 record. Top record in the league, 1 year removed from the lottery.
Only Barton O'Connell made any all league teams (Congrats Barton!!!) Think Don Collins was robbed in the voting  Matched up against the Clippers, which is probably the worst possible match-up for the Warriors, with a season split of 2-2. Should be a good series... Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: Str8westcoasta on July 25, 2007, 03:21:02 PM I like how Eddie Uner made all Defensive First Team with B- defense... lol
Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: NetsGM on July 25, 2007, 04:20:08 PM I like how Eddie Uner made all Defensive First Team with B- defense... lol 2.8 spg. awards have always been a joke for fbb. Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: BucksGM on July 25, 2007, 06:29:21 PM Mehta Defensive Player of the Year. That's his 3rd time. Averaged about 1 more rebound and 1 more block per game than anyone else.
Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: CavsGM on July 25, 2007, 07:36:21 PM The Cavs slip to 4th place and my starting center is now out for the playoffs. How convenient. Now we have a touch first round matchup against the Magic, one which we'll be lucky to come out the winner.
Title: Re: regular season finished Post by: NetsGM on July 26, 2007, 04:23:12 PM Quick visit, and "Hi!" from sunny Kissimee Florida! After my big trades I couldn't go this long without checking in. I just bought 50 minutes of PC time, so this should get me enough time in to touch base and keep an eye on things.
Looks like Nets went 14-5 to close out the year and are heading into the playoffs in just the right frame of mind. Part of the three-headed monster atop the eastern conference and very pleased with that. Ended up third of the three, but the randomism of the game has never really been my friend. Big first round matchup with the Bucks, Big Steve being out for the first five days isnt exactly helpful either. Split the season series, but haven't played them with Milner and Dudley - so it should be a good one. Good luck, Bucks - but not really  |
