When 2nd rouders reach their second year, what options does a team have for resigning them in the real NBA? Do you have to have cap space to resign them? I've noticed that there has been a ton of interest in 2nd round picks this season, and rightfully so; often second rounders turn out to be better than 1sts... If there is a rule in the real NBA about resigning 2nd rounders, is there any way we can implement that in this league? Title: Length of Contracts for 2nd Round Picks. In this sim, you can also offer them a salary starting at 120% or you can offer them the MLE (not up to the MLE, just the MLE).
