7. San Antonio Spurs - Alvin Schenk. With no real bigs left they will go for a PG. Mercer is also a possiblity here 8. Chicago Bulls - Mason Mercer - BPA at this spot and in need of a PG. With claxton already there a real small pg rotation. i predict a trade here. 9. Cleveland Cavaliers - Phillip Meyers - will move up and look out for a trade here with possible Carmello involved. 10. Detroit Pistons - LaDon Curry- big need at SG, and not the BPA. EDIT: I've heard that the 5 principle ratings are just the simplified version of the players actual attributes. Griffins ratings didn't, but would he still play better at his natural position? Title: MOCK Draft 6-10 Post by: NetsGM on March 23, 2005, 10:04:46 PM They are simplified versions.
Players are rated on a 1-100 scale on 17 attributes, potential, inside scoring, jumpshot, 3 pt shot, handling, quickness, passing, stealing, shotblocking, post defense, perimeter defense, drive defense, offensive rebounding, defensive rebounding, strength, jumping and scouted potential. Those ratings are then combined to form the ratings we know (inside scoring, outside scoring, handling, defense, rebounding, potential) and changed to a letter scale. So you don't know the particulars. Some improve, others don't. Usually the ratings are a good indication. Now it comes down to a little scouting and keeping track whos been picked and what not, the top 10 players in the draft were obvious anyways.
