Title: Re: Retirements Post by: CelticsGM on May 24, 2007, 03:24:51 PM Since when did Yao grew an inch? :lol2: it'S the hair i guess. he grew a mohawk for the retirement ceremony and they used so much setting lotion it became adamant ... $5 for a pic of Yao at that ceremony ... Title: Re: Retirements Post by: RaptorsGM on May 24, 2007, 05:51:20 PM Bet Yao enters the hall as a Raptor

Thank You for Everything !!  Also we'd like to thank Carlos, Chris and Ricardo who were all part of Blazers organization for a couple of seasons and who brought lots of joy to our fans. Title: Re: Retirements Post by: HawksGM on May 24, 2007, 07:17:53 PM I was actually looking for my 1st ever draft pick, Tanner Houbregs, so I could try and revive his career with the Hawks. After I couldn't find him, I found out he retired already, I couldn't believe he left so early. Yao retiring reminded me of him because I thought he would battle Yao for me when Yao was with the Raptors, but he turned out to be a disappointment.
Title: Re: Retirements Post by: ClippersGM-old on May 25, 2007, 04:21:55 AM Big thanks to Elton Brand from the Clippers organization! He made our team a title contender for years and years. And he brought the title to Los Angeles!
He should be in the hall of fame. Title: Re: Retirements Post by: GoldenStateGM on May 25, 2007, 08:44:47 AM Wow, I cannot beelive Dirk did not make the Hall of Fame...
One of the best scorers the league has ever seen... Ahh, two guys from my championship team retire this year, Dirk and Don Ruffin... Enjoy the golf, my friends!!!! Title: Re: Retirements Post by: BlazersGM on May 25, 2007, 03:41:28 PM Wasnt HOF adjusted so it accepts players with lower stats then Yao ? If not, i guess just Yao will be HOF for a long time. :S
Title: Re: Retirements Post by: CelticsGM on May 25, 2007, 04:05:48 PM you get HOF points for certain achievements, like awards and all star weekend participation.
guess Dirk simply didn't have enough points ... but then again, those guys from the ORIGINAL league file should get bonus points for the pre-SSBA seasons. I can't see anyone but Pettit making it in the near future ... even Emeka doesn't qualify ! Title: Re: Retirements Post by: BlazersGM on May 25, 2007, 04:19:30 PM Yes i know that, thats why ive asked if bods or hawks changed the file so it puts players with less points and achievements in HOF.
