I'm not happy with my draw..I didn't want the Wizards or the Celtics and I got one of them.  I think they could easily upset me because our teams are so similar.

Well I didnt finish the season well at all (4-6 in last 10) and only 2 games above 500 but I will take it as I get my first playoff experience in SSBA. Its just too bad Priddy will be out for the whole first round, so I dont expect to win because we dont have any depth.

Happy to see Pettit and 2nd team All League and 1st team All Defence. Celtics didnt make the playoffs, but having the best non-playoff record sure doesnt help my chances of moving up in the draft. Also happy to see the Kings on the outside looking in (just because hehe)

Well, picks #1 and #2 are mine (pre-lotto), and things look pretty good for my picks next year, with both the Sonics and the Suns taking a pretty bad turn in the second half of the seasons (and I will probably still suck.) One would expect that I would be able to make something of this.

Now that was the kind of sim I was hoping for after the trade...
8-1 sim, and some great team play for the whole squad.

Barton came through big time, with 19.6 ppg (on only 12.5 shots per game), 11.8 apg, and only 2.1 topg, on 60% and 51% shooting...

Don Collins gave up some shots to Barton, scoring only 14.4 ppg, but still shot 47% from the field and 56% from 3.

Phil Hubbard had 21 ppg, 10.7 rpg, and got the the line for a nice 8.6 attempts per game.

With Tyson Thurmond, Gregory Holman, and Phil Hubbard returning next year, my front line is in very good shape.

With Don Collins and Barton O'Connell in the backcourt, will be looking to fill a starting SG/SF spot in free agency.

I am really looking forward to next year, this squad should be very good.

pm me your playoff DC's, for those of you still in it.

Two questions...

1) Since Wolves don't have a GM will their DC be carried over from regular season or reset with CPU recommended?

2) When will playoffs be simmed?

Stumbled into the playoffs going 3-6 in sim 12 and losing 5 straight to enter play against the Bulls, who beat me by 8 at home on day 117. Hopefully we can take the series to 6 or 7.

Sim 12 Stats:

Team PPG: 97.6
OPP   PPG: 101.7

Kareem Cunningham - 29.8mppg, 12ppg, 9.4rpg, 2apg, 0.7spg, 1.8bpg

Mark Wootten - 31.9mpg, 8.6ppg, 8rpg, 1.4apg, 1spg, 0.9bpg

Calvin Natt - 37.4mpg, 22.4ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.7apg, 0.6spg

Michael O'Neil - 35.4mpg, 11.1ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.8apg, 1.1spg, 2.1topg

Sleepy Floyd - 34.9mpg, 14.2ppg, 4.6rpg, 8.1apg, 1.7spg, 3.3topg

Things that stand out:

- Kareem has been very, very consistent all season long which I love to see. I have high hopes for him going forward

- Wootten's production dropped a ton as 9 and 8 is just not getting it done in starter minutes. Unknown at this time whether he will start in the postseason

- Very happy with Natt who continues to rebound very well at his natural position. As of this moment he is the face of the franchise moving forward

- Wish I could get a few more points out of MON, but 11/4/3 on A defense is always welcome

- Floyd did a much better job managing his turnovers...he looks good moving forward as well

So at the end of the season, Kareem was the only Raptors honoured at the awards banquet as a first-team rookie. With all 3 picks making the playoffs, we will be picking 17th or 18th, 21st or 22nd, 23rd. Should be able to grab a gem in there.

Wolves, Lakers and Bulls DC's will carry over, I won't touch any of them.  The first round is to be  simmed tomorrow, I will put a tentative schedule up now.

Wow I'm really surprised at Rivera being awarded a spot on the 2nd All-defensive team. Didn't realize how strong my team actually was defensively with Dial, Rivera, and Uner.

Guess it wasn't meant to be for my Celtics this season. Lost a playoff spot on the final 2 days of the season and finished 9th spot in the East (as always with a record that would have made it in the West). Pretty disappointing end to a pretty disappointing season.

No awards, but only rightfully so. Losing teams shouldn't be awarded.

Guess I need some time to get over that depressing feeling, but actually I think there's some future in this team.

Still ...   :bods:

Sorry, dident mean to slight you, but The Nuggets have been in the playoffs before in this league.

But still great job making the playoffs in our league for the first time :)

P.S. : I dident realize the Lakers dident have a GM I thought I had a discussion with him recently.

finished with 3-2 sim and couldnt get that #1 spot in West. However Phelps whom i consider our best player is out for another 17 days so im not too excited about POs. If we can get over Nuggs somehow and Rd2 then, then ill be. But right now without him, with that big hole in backcourt i have a headache. I have to think of something. Maybe Yao can make it on his own this one.

Andresen after that fantastic sim last time with Yao injured had an amazing one again.

19 points 26 rebounds 6 assists 4 blocks @Warriors ! WOW !!

16pts 10reb 3ast 2blk vs Clipps.

14/6 4 blocks @Warriors on 7-10 FG as a backup for Yao who got back.

REALLY REALLY IMPRESSIVE !!

Trump was a true leader with top guys Yao and Phelps injured.

Buehler, Peck and especially Austin and Leandro who sub Phelps didnt work at all as
scoring options which worries me a lot, thank god Yao is back for POs.

Anyway, i really have a headache on deciding who's gonna play SG vs Nuggs. Really wish
Phelps was fit.

To make it worse Nuggs looked better in our 2-2 regular season matchups.

Oh boy !! I feel they gonna upset us.

Yet, Buehler made 2nd def team altough its pretty ridicolous he didnt make all-def 1st considering stats over Holton, FBB was strange once more.

Yao should kill my 6'9" C Munson and dominate the series.

Wildcard will be if Ransey can keep the turnovers down, and my guys stay out of foul trouble so I dont have to use my minimum contract bench too much.

i dunno, without Phelps we're just really weak, i think he is more important then Yap on this team. and all despite his 1 billion TOPG.

Crap. Just lost a whole post. Here's the abbreviated version.
Not too happy with 4-3 last sim - bad home loss to the Hornets, and got absolutely owned by Richard Milner in a home loss to the Bulls which determined who ended up third. Ive NEVER seen this - Milner in that game: 21 assists, ZERO turnovers. Not too fussy on facing the Cavs in the first round - with their experience.
Happy with the kids and getting home court advantage for (I think) my first time in SSBA. Gminski - all league third team is nice.

Still baffled that a guy with a B- rebounding rating averages over 10 a game

Another 50+ wins season and first seed in the west for the Mavs.  At the age of 35, Okafor had a great season.  All league first team and all defensive second team.

Okafor's an absolute beast.  He was more untouchable when i had him than Pettit was.

I don't think that quite beats out the Kyle Dial scoring binges (http://rosters.ssbabasketball.com/players/player441.htm) of years past.  He was putting up 23 ppg one year with a C+ C offensive ratings.
