1-2 sim for Blazers, next sim we dont have any games at all ! Good time to rest players. Wish we went better this sim tough, we're 3GB now of Dallas.

Ugly sim for the Raptors but it did clear up an important issue that has been eating at me for a while. I really, really didn't want to trade Barton if I thought there was even a remote chance that this team could compete for a Championship.

It appears that dream is long gone, and therefore it also appears that Barton O'Connell has played his last game as a Toronto Raptor.

Since the all-star break we have gone just 8-12 and our scoring has decreased each sim. Given the fact that opponents are averaging 108+ points against us, the drop in scoring is just too alarming of a trend.

Not a good sim for me either. Looking to tweak my player rotation to make my final push before the play-offs.

since you have played 69 games so far and have no games next sim (which runs days 100-110) that means you'll have 13 games between days 111 and 120. Congratulations for voluntarily playing TWICE a day on 3 dates then ...
:lol2:

Great 5-2 sim, it's obvious i was lacking some serious inside presence and Carrol gives me just that. Too bad he got injured for 4 more days in the most crucial season run. I hope we'll survive a few games without him.

He's been great in his first games;

23pts, 13rebs vs the Sonics
28pts, 10rebs vs the Rockets
25pts, 14rebs vs the Pacers

...and then he got injured.

Tommy also had some nice double doubles;

16pts, 15rebs vs the Clips
14pts, 12rebs vs the Sonics
12pts, 14rebs vs the Rockets

Cartwright was superb in Carrol's absence;

32pts, 12 rebs vs the Clippers
27pts, 9rebs vs the Wolves
14pts, 14rebs, 5as vs the Lakers

Great sim but it didn't help much. Still 2 games out of the playoff spot as other teams just can't lose as well.

Damn, just a 4-2 sim for the Celtics.

Pavel went down for the rematch with the Wiz ... and i immediately get whipped by 27 at home. Went 1-2 without Pavel out, only beating the Sixers (who didn't this sim), but was 3-0 with him. And he's back now, that's good.

Slipped into the 8th spot for now, but there's still some teams behind us pushing hard, most noteably the Pacers and Heat (*)

Looking at the standings, should the Raptors deal away Barton (and I mean for future considerations, not for a bona-fide star big man), then no team from them down is safe. Raptors without Connelly can easily slip out, as can the Cavs without Adams, and of course the Wizards and my Celtics. And below the dottet line, Sixers, Heat, Pacers, and Pistons are still in the hunt. I expect this to be close to the end, maybe till days 119/120 (where the Celtics will play the Cavs and Heat).

Antonio Lenard scored 55 on 20-27 shooting with 4 steals and 2 blocks against former 25-time MVP Garrett Pettit (in a road win against the Nuggets).
Just worth mentioning. Oh how the (once) mighty have fallen ...
 :(

(*) as of now the Heat go the better of the Shultz deal, apparently, sure looking better than the Sixers. So I have to appologize to them ...
;-)

YEAH!!!

I don't have the worst record in the L anymore!

Przybilla goes down for 44 days with a broken Skull, returns this sim and goes down with a migrane... LOL Awesome...

This sucks. First, my team shoots an absolutely dreadful 60 points on 24% shooting agains the Grizzlies. I'm afraid to ask if this is a record low, but it probably is. And on top of that, Adams is to depressed to play and is now out for 66 days, ending his season. My depth in the frontcourt is solid enough that I may be able to somewhat make up for his loss, but he was a very important piece. My team can very likely fall out of the playoff race now, but we'll see. If we do, then I'll have a good pick. If not, who knows, maybe there could be some suprises in the playoffs.

15 day sim ?
as usual we had a 9 day sim (91-99) and as usual we will have a 11 day sim next time (100-110).

Is this your first season in sim leagues ... ?

I don't think it is. I'm pretty sure some teams have scored in the 50s. Just this year I've scored 65 and under 5 times.

3-3 sim for the Warriors, best sim since the All-Star break.  The slow pace seems to be a bit more effective with this squad...
Team D needs some serious improvement, teams shhoting almost 45% against this team.
Hopefully, with a decent TC, these youngsters can improve their defense over the offseason.

Phill Hubbard and Don Collins are a great 1-2 scoring punch...  Really need a 3rd option scorer, which I will hopefully pick up in free agency...

Stupid Nuggets....let's go Lakers! Let's go Kings!

Satisfied with a 5-2 sim and in decent position to land homecourt advantage in the first round, but the comp this time around was not high. Not fussy on losing to the Heat and Pistons - but these things happen I suppose.

I do think that Mike Gminski is gonna win himself some league all-star/all D trophies one day. Very solid numbers across the board, and does very well in alot of matchups against some very good players.

Ro Blackman shut down Michael Brooks completely in our game with the Pistons, which was the difference by the looks of things. 0-12, ouch. Speaking of all-d teams in the future...Brooks did a nice job on Gatling a few nights later, holding him to 11 pts on 4-13, while pumping in 23 himself.

5-2 sim, 14-6 in the last 3 sims. Too bad Boston is winning (against me no less).

In my 5 wins the average margin of victory was 22.4pts. Bad news is Priddy is out 37 days with a Hernia, he was my starting C and a great rebounder.

Simly stats:

C: Priddy (4 1/2 games)
31.2min, 10pts, 12.4reb, 1.8ast, 0.6stl, 0.6blk, 40%FG, 60%FT, 1.6to, 2.2fl

C/PF: Munson
31.9min, 13.9pts, 8.9reb, 1.0ast, 1.6stl, 3.3blk, 43%FG, 88.6%FT, 1.3to, 2.1fl

PF: Williams
32.1min, 16.4pts, 11.3reb, 2.4ast, 1.3stl, 1.3blk, 56.4%FG, 77%FT, 1.6to, 4fl

SF: McHale
36.3min, 19.0pts, 7.4reb, 0.9ast, 1.0stl, 0.6blk, 58.7%FG, 65.8%FT, 2.7to, 1.9fl

SG: Pettit
38.9min, 26.0pts, 4.7reb, 4.9ast, 2.0stl, 0.3blk, 53.4%FG, 44%3pt, 87.5%FT, 3.3to, 2.1fl

PG: Ransey
39.6min, 14.4pts, 3.6reb, 12.3ast, 2.4stl, 0blk, 41.8%FG, 50%3pt, 68%FT, 4to, 1.9fl

this last sim, Antonio Lenard finally did show why he's one of the most underrated players in this league.
27ppg on 52% shooting, 2.3 steals, 1.5 topg

does he defend? hell no, he's giving up 17/5/3 on 53% shooting, but hey, outscoring the opposition is a concept too.

Huh.. Just as an interesting aside, over the 14 years of this league, there have been a total of 16 teams that have made the finals...
Actually pretty decent disparity...

Celtics still didn't even get to the CF yet in their history here. That sucks ...
