Title: Sim 9 Up Post by: HawksGM on May 02, 2007, 06:05:28 PM Discuss...Friday's sim will be Saturday morning instead
Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: CelticsGM on May 02, 2007, 07:42:52 PM Celtics went 4-2 for the first winning sim since going 5-3 in sim 1 to start the season.
Unbelieveably I'm still on a 27-30 record. Nice ... Benjamin Wolkowsky making the most out of a reare start. 20ppg, 4rpg, 4apg on 57% from the field and 65% from the 3pt stripe. And in beating the Pistons, Bulls, and Heat we scored at a 115ppg clip. Add plus 10 in rebounding any you know why the Celtics are on the rise ... Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: MagicGM on May 02, 2007, 08:40:05 PM made adjustments that turned out to be huge. impressed.
Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: WizardsGM on May 02, 2007, 09:55:58 PM Disappointed that the Celtics had a good sim, was hoping they would help a good guy get a good pick ;)
Team went 4-3, while not great, means we are 9-5 in our last 2 sims and now over .500 to keep pace toward the playoffs. Pettit struggled this sim after being rediculous last sim, but balance was the key. Our top 6 players break down as follows this past sim: C: Priddy 29.1min, 5.9pts, 9.3reb, 0.9ast, 0.6stl, 1.3blk, only 27%FG and 58%FT though, 2.6to, 2.7fl PF: Williams (non option this sim) 31.9min, 17.6pts, 14.7reb, 1.7ast, 0.6stl, 2.1blk, 40%FG, 75%FT, 1.6to, 3.3fl C/PF: Munson 26.9min, 11.7pts, 8.6reb, 0.9ast, 0.4stl, 2.7blk, 47%FG, 70%FT, 1.9to, 2.7fl SF: McHale (2nd option this sim) 38.1min, 20.7pts, 9.0reb, 1.7ast, 0.6stl, 1.7blk, 54.6%FG, 64%FT, 1.4to, 2.4fl SG: Pettit 38.1min, 16.9pts, 5.6reb, 5.4ast, 1.6stl, 0.1blk, 40%FG, 50%3pt, 77%FT, 3.9to, 1.6fl PG: Ransey 38.4min, 20.7pts, 4.4reb, 9.4ast, 1.6stl, 0.4blk, 51%FG, 48%3pt, 90%FT, 2.4to, 2.0fl By far, Ransey's least turnovers in a sim in a long long time. McHale was a beast, love it. Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: CelticsGM on May 03, 2007, 03:44:55 AM sorry you feel we disappoint you ... which of course we don't. Your Celtics pick will be way way higher than I assumed - and that it should be - but it won't be lottery. This is the final run for my vets, with Perry, Chills, Dirk, Sampson, Lenard, Pavel all being in their mid 30ies, so having no future AND no success would be a hard hit.
One more word to the Kings sweep of my Celtics (the first in like 12 seasons i think): Congratulations. (too bad i can't adjust my DC to fit the Kings rotation but i rather go 4-2 and lose to Sacto than beat them and go 2-4) ;-) Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: PacersGM on May 03, 2007, 04:16:11 AM One more word to the Kings sweep of my Celtics (the first in like 12 seasons i think): Congratulations. (too bad i can't adjust my DC to fit the Kings rotation but i rather go 4-2 and lose to Sacto than beat them and go 2-4) ;-) wow a sweep by the kings strange things happen. :D not to forget you also lost against pacers. Best part in that loss. your team had 15 more rebounds  more ass, blocks and better % . Still celtics could only win the fourth quarter... maybe it is because tyler did his best shaq imitation from the line :lmao: rest of sim: beat magic behind 41pts by peters and 20pts by knight beat knicks by 30+ behind another 40pts performance from peters and 19 by knight and 17 and 14 ass by rob beat wiz with 49pts by peters and 20 and 9 by rob beat jazz again peters with 47pts so no wonder that peters is still increasing his scoring avg. now at 31pts and the second leading scorer in the league. guess he likes to be on the trade block. :bounce: Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: Str8westcoasta on May 03, 2007, 07:24:41 AM I WON 3 GAMES... IN A ROW!*
*Then proceded to lose 4 in a row... 3-4 sim for me, thats the best of the year (what a sad statement) Terrance Przybilla is back this sim and we're now at full strength. I believe we will pick up some wins in the coming weeks. C: Strong PF: Ray SF: Przybilla SG: Pierce PG: Harris That should be a decent starting 5, with some nice shooters in there. ~RocketsGM Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: GoldenStateGM on May 03, 2007, 08:52:09 AM The rest of this season will be experimentation for settings, I think.
Learned that these Warriors, unlike the real ones, really dislike playing a fast pace. Goping to try a very slow pace, and see how it goes. Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: RaptorsGM on May 03, 2007, 09:06:03 AM Locked in a tight battle with the Bulls for the 3rd spot in the East
It was a 4-2 sim, pretty good for the Raps. vs hornets 110-82 -- Story of the game was my production from the 5 spot...29/11 from Beens, 18/9 from Kareem. Arbogast had 12/9/9. @ blazers 101-92 -- Big win. Barton had a big scoring game with 32 on 12/24 shooting. Beens added 22/12 for his 2nd huge game in a row. Cunningham had 12 boards, 6 blocks, 5 assists. @ grizz 84-108 -- Ouch. As Natt went down against the Blazers it was Beens starting and he stepped up for 18/11..what an amazing sim from him. That was the only positive from this game. @ lakers 93-110 -- Second tough loss in a row. Beens had 22/7. Barton had 24/8. Got cranked by Laporte against Beens. At least he can score. vs wolves 125-122 -- Statement win after two tough losses on the road. Won the 4th Q by 12. Arbogast had 35 points, 3 off his career high. His counterpart had 41, but Gatling needed 39 shots (!!) to get to 41 whereas Arbogast needed 21 shots for 25. Barton added 22/12. 4 guys with double double. @ rockets 115-107 -- Good win. 4 guys in double figures in rebounds. Bradley had 16/17. King had 22/15. Story of the sim: Beens filling in for Natt. 6 games this sim, avgs of 16 and 11 Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: NetsGM on May 03, 2007, 09:49:48 AM i think 9 sims has told me that we're........awfully mediocre, heh.
Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: MagicGM on May 03, 2007, 10:52:09 AM nice to see dan mccracken striving pretty well with the hornets. 8, 9 and 2bpg.
Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: MavsGM on May 03, 2007, 02:02:43 PM Not a good sim. Our scoring went down this sim and Vince keogan was injured.
Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: BlazersGM on May 03, 2007, 02:07:25 PM not a great sim, 2-2, but more importantly Yao is really heating up in right time, we-re 1.5GB from #1 and Mavs now, and hopefully we'll be spared any major injury's.
