Title: Sim 6 Post by: HawksGM on April 23, 2007, 07:46:19 PM Due to a major work crisis, I am going to have to push the sim back until Wed night. I wish I didn't have to but I guess work comes first :bash: I am on my come and home and see the family for an hour then go back and do damage control for the night.
Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: KingsGM-old on April 23, 2007, 07:50:06 PM Awesome. I still haven't found that backup SG yet so more time for me.
Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: KingsGM-old on April 24, 2007, 10:09:50 AM Bah, can't wait.
Cartwright, Tommy, Bird, Purvis and Magic with Laimbeer, Cliffy and Drew off the bench. I just have to find a shotblocker and i'll win 67 titles in the next 5 years. Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: NetsGM on April 25, 2007, 03:39:46 PM Better start winning Kings before those studs of yours jump ship
Nice 5-1 sim. Didn't exactly play the leagues elite, but every win counts. Nice balanced lineup with 6-7 guys capable of sharing the offensive load, and playing 10-deep - should be good to prevent injury. Odd was that Gminski was less effective this sim than at any other time this season. Kyle Macy had a couple of 13 assist games with 1 TO - very nice. Luol hasn't lost a step at all. Michael Brooks likes his new mates, with a handful of very good games including two 30pt efforts to close out the sim. Overall, I'm happy with the early returns. Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: GoldenStateGM on April 25, 2007, 03:45:29 PM Wow... Wow... Wow...
No this is getting exciting. Fantastic sim for the young Warriors, going 5-3, and winning 4 out of 7 road games... Also moving into the 7 seed early in the playoff hunt. Phil Hubbard, congratulations on your first All-Star team, it was well deserved... Especially, in sim 6, where you racked up 27 ppg and 10.1 rpg on 51% shooting... Don Collins, congratulations to you as well, on your first All-Star Game appearance!!! He is thriving in his 2nd option role, with 19 ppg and 5.4 rpg on 45% and 49% shooting... Michael O'Neil finally came through offensively, with 11 ppg on 52% and 50% shooting, along with 4.6 rpg, 3.9 apg, and 2.o spg. And, the newest addition to the Warriors, rookie sensation Lester Conner... Given the starting position immediately after arriving, he shined... 1st game as a Warrior, he gets 11 pts, 9 assist, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 0 turnovers... 2nd game, he racks up a double double, with 13 points and 14 assists (nerves got him 6 to's, though) His 5th game, he flirts with a trible double with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists... Oh, this kid is a crowd favorite... Overall, Conner came through with 10.5 ppg, 7.8 apg, 5.6rpg (), 1.8 spg, and 2.4 tpg in 32 mpg. Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: WizardsGM on April 25, 2007, 04:07:51 PM Went on a terrible 4 game losing streak to start the sim, but I will chalk that up to the guys getting used to one another. Ended it winning the last 3 of 4, hopefully that carries over.
Might move Munson as the big off the bench so he doesnt foul so often as the starting C. Might have to play with the defensive settings as well. Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: NetsGM on April 25, 2007, 04:16:25 PM Day 60 shows a different day for me. Wierd.
And Nuggs - don't change a thing! Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: RaptorsGM on April 25, 2007, 07:10:43 PM Decent 4-2 sim has me firmly planted in 3rd spot in the East.
Congrats to the Nets for going on a tear after all those trades, even though I was really hoping you would stink :) Looks like my "Shot at Sampson" will have to come from the Spurs who are currently giving me the 11th best chance but are only 1 game out of the playoffs and are by all accounts a playoff worthy team. Barton started this sim off by dropping 54 against the Clipps in an amazing 21-29 shooting. In a win against the Lakers, Barton had 39 pts and 9 asts while Natt chipped in 25 pts and 20 rebounds. And on we move to All-Star Weekend where the results for the 3 pt contest and the dunk contest are currently unavailable. Cunningham started for the rookies in the rook game, playing 27 minutes and getting 7 pts, 6 rebs and 3 blks. Happy to say th upstart Raps had TWO All-Stars this year, as Barton started at PG for the East and put up 14 pts, 7 asts, 6 rebs on 4-6 shooting. Natt backed up PF and had 10, 3 and 2 in 20 mins. Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: MavsGM on April 25, 2007, 07:21:23 PM Hawks, I think you need to fix the all-star game, is all over the places. Went 0-2 with out Okafor. :bash:

I'm happy with how things are going, thanks 8) I've been hoping for the same thing from Nick/Nuggets, but I suspect with Munson/Pettit, it's nothing more than wishful thinking. :(Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: BlazersGM on April 25, 2007, 09:48:51 PM 5-3 for Blazers, finally somewhat back on track after all those injury bugs and we started to go down in game.
Trump looks better option at PG then Toby. I liked Peck at SF, and Buehler at PF did pretty great. Interesting sim for 6'6'' Buehler at PF. He is true D.Rodman ... and he can score as well :p Game 1 vs Hubbard GSW 6-8 FG 1-1 3pts 10 rebs, Hubbard 14-33 FG ! Game 2 vs Amare CHI 5-10 FG 6 rebs 2 blks, Amare 4-11. Game 3 vs Buck Williams 4-6 FG, Buck 5-17. Game 4 vs Baylor 2-8, Baylor 1-5. Game 5 vs B.Williams 7-13, 0-1 3pt, Buck 8-17. Game 6 vs Ferry 5-9, Ferry 4-10. Game 7 vs Rivera 3-10, Rivera 4-4, only bad game. Game 8 vs Mr. Cliff 7-17 and 17 rebs. Cliff 3-7. Title: Re: Sim 6 Post by: GoldenStateGM on April 27, 2007, 04:46:15 PM Just looked at the Warriors Sim 7 schedule...
9 games, 3 home 6 away... Hoping for a 6-3 sim this time around, although that might be much for this young team. 5-4 would be a pretty good sim... |
