Due to family coming in from out of town for the weekend.  I will have time tomorrow afternoon to get Sim 1 in.  Sim 2 will still be Friday night, but late about 10 pm EST.  Get them DC's in by tomorrow around 2:30 pm EST

Just ONE (real NBA player) pick produces better than Chambers in 1/3 less minutes.  More points, more rebounds and better FG%.  That right there should end any discussion about who got the better end of the deal.

Chambers was a 11/11 player the first sim as a NON option. I tried him at SF in sim 2 so his numbers gone down. Kellog has 12ppg as like what what, first option? Wow. I'm impressed.

You forget one thing:
make Chambers a #1 option and he'd be hard pressed getting 10ppg or shooting 45% at ANY position

Wtf? He was a 11ppg in his rookie year as a THIRD option.

Kellogg did it as a non-starter...thus most likely a non-option.  Thus the comment that he played a lot less minutes and produced more.

Tommy is a king of sim universe and i love him. He's going nowhere and i like him. That's all that matters.

Mediocre 3-4 sim for the Raptors...but man can this team score.

Barton O'Connell....wow. 26.7ppg, 11.1apg (2.7topg). Along with Natt's 22.3ppg and 14(!!!!)rpg.

Some incredible offensive performances but just brutal defensively.

Loving the 2.9bpg from Cunningham.

Leading team ppg by 5 points...but leading the flip side by 6  :lmao:


Oh well...just hoping the Nets will continue the .143 clip.

Tried a little variation on my DC from the preseason when we were much better, which obviously flopped. Back to the drawing board.

Jeremy Munson was very good as a non-option. Not much else to report on - wasn't exactly a good start to the season.

How about McHale leading my team in scoring off the bench at 16.8 per game? Good and bad to take out of that. The bad is, for some reason Buck is only scoring at 16.4.

Butler clearly did not enjoy starting at SG, shooting 24.4% from the field and worse from 3.

He enjoyed starting at SG for my Championship team  :P

Guess he is just older now, il have to check out the box scores, he did fine there in preseason.

Paul Maggette is an absolute beast on the defensive end averages 17 rebounds and 4 blocks a game. For another year is looks like my team is going to be a top 3 defensive team. However, my offense is struggling, especially with the poor shooting. If all of my starters can shoot at .400 then we should be alright.

Nice 7-2 start for Blazers, we usually start great last few seasons then struggle.

Yao still has it, 31.4ppg 11.1rpg 2.4bpg

Buehler is insane SF, 15ppg 10.2rpg 1.7spg, that guy jumps like Rodman.

Phelps seems to be enjoying his minor Yao role now, 18.1ppg 6.8rpg 5.3apg on .492 FG.

Bolinger is dishing nicely, 9.1apg and 2.8topg.

I feel im stacked with great backcourt offensive players, could use little more help up front.

Bad Thing : Ahye out for 32 days, he gets 15-20mpg but he is very useful and productive guy just like last season, hopefully we-ll find a good enough sub for him now.

Yao 42/13, Bolinger 19/16 @ Pacers

Yao 40/11 vs Rockets

Yao 42/17 vs Hornets

Interesting, lost to Jazz and Nuggs, went 4-0 vs East teams tough.

4-4, not so bad. I'd sign that for the rest of the season.

Tommy the Pumpgun (15pts, 10rebs on a 6-7 shooting) & Magic (33pts, 4st, 9as, 7rebs) took care of the Celtics team.

Tommy also had 16 rebs in a victory over the Jazz.

Won aganinst the Jazz, Nuggets, Hornets and Celtics. Lost against Magic, Sonics, Wizrads and Wolves. This is probably going to be story through out the entire season.

Individual stats are fine;

Magic - 25ppg, 6rpg, 4apg, 51% from the floor and 44 for the 3
Isiah - 19ppg, 10apg but almost 5to's
Bill Cartwright - 13ppg, 10rpg
Tommy - 9ppg, 10rpg, 47% from the floor
Purvis Short - 14ppg, 6rpg

...but lack of quaility depth, rebs and defense is killin me. As expected.

I kind of like it when a victory over the Celtics is among the season highlights for some teams. Not only is it cute but it show's we're on the right track.

It only shows that tradition is about to continue.

(btw, have you ever considered, and i mean EVER, trading on of your two  -superstar- PGs for some stud at a position you actually need rather than killing Magic's career numbers forever ? I mean this guy is in his 4th season and had ONE mere all star appearance, imaging what he could do on a REAL team playing his REAL position)


anyway, the start to the season was hardly a highlight in Celtics history.

I suspect it will be a few sims till the roles of scorers, shooters and defenders are clearly defined. Right now the whole team has troubles finding the basket and even moreso filling it. Right now we struggled to a 5-3 finish courtesy of a favourable schedule.

can somebody explain to me how a C inside B- Outside rated player can score 19ppg in FG% .505 and .455 from beyond the arc?  i think the ratings are fake...harely khoury continues to amaze me at 30 years of age...probably his prime
