Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: SixersGM on April 12, 2007, 12:24:50 AM I don't think this season will ever going to start. I can settle with 12 preseasons.. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: CelticsGM on April 12, 2007, 03:13:09 AM not if i have to play the same (scrub) DC for all 12 sims.
yes, not even I ... :-) Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 12, 2007, 07:47:46 AM don't worry. For some of us (re: you) it's already over :) No high hopes here. Just expecting a fun season. Lots of ups and downs, no defense, high scoring games etc. That's all. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: MagicGM on April 12, 2007, 08:16:40 AM don't worry. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: MagicGM on April 12, 2007, 08:56:21 AM Who else? From the Lakers' squad ;) Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 12, 2007, 08:58:12 AM In what those picks've turned into anyway?
Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: SpursGM-old on April 12, 2007, 02:36:22 PM Clark Kellogg 24.1 12.8 8.3 1.6 1.1 0.4 1.6 .455 .663 .000
Tom Chambers 34.6 8.6 7.3 1.5 1.3 0.5 1.5 .449 .692 .417 Just ONE (real NBA player) pick produces better than Chambers in 1/3 less minutes. More points, more rebounds and better FG%. That right there should end any discussion about who got the better end of the deal. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: CelticsGM on April 12, 2007, 02:39:23 PM and the whole team will get potate chips for free for the time being.
It helps being the great-grandson of the founder ... ;-) Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 12, 2007, 03:59:33 PM Clark Kellogg 24.1 12.8 8.3 1.6 1.1 0.4 1.6 .455 .663 .000 Tom Chambers 34.6 8.6 7.3 1.5 1.3 0.5 1.5 .449 .692 .417 Just ONE (real NBA player) pick produces better than Chambers in 1/3 less minutes. More points, more rebounds and better FG%. That right there should end any discussion about who got the better end of the deal. Lol. So wrong. Chambers was a 11/11 player the first sim as a NON option. I tried him at SF in sim 2 so his numbers gone down. Kellog has 12ppg as like what what, first option? Wow. I'm impressed. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: CelticsGM on April 12, 2007, 04:24:43 PM You forget one thing:
make Chambers a #1 option and he'd be hard pressed getting 10ppg or shooting 45% at ANY position Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 12, 2007, 04:29:39 PM Wtf? He was a 11ppg in his rookie year as a THIRD option.

Kellogg did it as a non-starter...thus most likely a non-option. Thus the comment that he played a lot less minutes and produced more. First preseason... Clark Kellogg 26.8 13.8 10.0 2.1 0.8 0.2 1.5 .467 .788 .000 Tom Chambers 34.3 10.9 11.0 1.9 0.5 1.3 1.2 .434 .642 .500 Less minutes - more points, 1 less rebound, better shooting. And Lakers got 4 more draft picks. Still got to say that they got the better deal. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 12, 2007, 04:37:54 PM I don't care anyway.
I love Tommy the Gun. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: CelticsGM on April 12, 2007, 05:01:38 PM then try making him #1 and cry ...
Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 12, 2007, 05:04:17 PM Tommy is a king of sim universe and i love him. He's going nowhere and i like him. That's all that matters.
Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: CelticsGM on April 12, 2007, 05:08:48 PM maybe it's just me, but i strongly believe a personal relationship should never influence the Player-Coach-GM relations.
time to step down before Timmy finds out ... :lol2: Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 12, 2007, 05:10:33 PM It's been like that always with this team. I'm the most loyal GM in the league. Remember my man Danny Forston? :)

Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: HawksGM on April 12, 2007, 10:21:13 PM Sim 1 is finally up...discuss, sorry for the long delay, tomorow around the same time guys.
Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: RaptorsGM on April 12, 2007, 10:38:01 PM Mediocre 3-4 sim for the Raptors...but man can this team score.
Barton O'Connell....wow. 26.7ppg, 11.1apg (2.7topg). Along with Natt's 22.3ppg and 14(!!!!)rpg. Some incredible offensive performances but just brutal defensively. Loving the 2.9bpg from Cunningham. Leading team ppg by 5 points...but leading the flip side by 6 :lmao: Oh well...just hoping the Nets will continue the .143 clip. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: NetsGM on April 12, 2007, 10:45:55 PM LOL, Raps beat me to it.
It's the "FBB Curse of the Traded Pick". Tried a little variation on my DC from the preseason when we were much better, which obviously flopped. Back to the drawing board. Jeremy Munson was very good as a non-option. Not much else to report on - wasn't exactly a good start to the season. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: WizardsGM on April 12, 2007, 10:49:07 PM 3-2, meh
How about McHale leading my team in scoring off the bench at 16.8 per game? Good and bad to take out of that. The bad is, for some reason Buck is only scoring at 16.4. Butler clearly did not enjoy starting at SG, shooting 24.4% from the field and worse from 3. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: RaptorsGM on April 12, 2007, 11:00:41 PM Nice to see Max tearing it up...wish it was still in a Raps uni...but I'm pretty happy with natt
Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: GrizzliesGM on April 12, 2007, 11:29:33 PM Paul Maggette is an absolute beast on the defensive end averages 17 rebounds and 4 blocks a game. For another year is looks like my team is going to be a top 3 defensive team. However, my offense is struggling, especially with the poor shooting. If all of my starters can shoot at .400 then we should be alright.
Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: BlazersGM on April 12, 2007, 11:51:40 PM Nice 7-2 start for Blazers, we usually start great last few seasons then struggle.
Yao still has it, 31.4ppg 11.1rpg 2.4bpg Buehler is insane SF, 15ppg 10.2rpg 1.7spg, that guy jumps like Rodman. Phelps seems to be enjoying his minor Yao role now, 18.1ppg 6.8rpg 5.3apg on .492 FG. Bolinger is dishing nicely, 9.1apg and 2.8topg. I feel im stacked with great backcourt offensive players, could use little more help up front. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: BlazersGM on April 12, 2007, 11:57:08 PM Bad Thing : Ahye out for 32 days, he gets 15-20mpg but he is very useful and productive guy just like last season, hopefully we-ll find a good enough sub for him now.
Some nice numbers there: Yao 42/13, Bolinger 19/16 @ Pacers Yao 40/11 vs Rockets Yao 42/17 vs Hornets Interesting, lost to Jazz and Nuggs, went 4-0 vs East teams tough. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: MagicGM on April 13, 2007, 12:09:08 AM after the rbsl's bulls, another team will be burning in hell.. the Orlando magic. damn:) juan ward freaking injured
Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: Str8westcoasta on April 13, 2007, 06:20:15 AM don't worry. For some of us (re: you) it's already over :) No high hopes here. Just expecting a fun season. Lots of ups and downs, no defense, high scoring games etc. That's all. I'll see that and raise you a lack of a frontcourt Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 13, 2007, 06:34:53 AM 4-4, not so bad. I'd sign that for the rest of the season.
Tommy the Pumpgun (15pts, 10rebs on a 6-7 shooting) & Magic (33pts, 4st, 9as, 7rebs) took care of the Celtics team. Tommy also had 16 rebs in a victory over the Jazz. Won aganinst the Jazz, Nuggets, Hornets and Celtics. Lost against Magic, Sonics, Wizrads and Wolves. This is probably going to be story through out the entire season. Individual stats are fine; Magic - 25ppg, 6rpg, 4apg, 51% from the floor and 44 for the 3 Isiah - 19ppg, 10apg but almost 5to's Bill Cartwright - 13ppg, 10rpg Tommy - 9ppg, 10rpg, 47% from the floor Purvis Short - 14ppg, 6rpg ...but lack of quaility depth, rebs and defense is killin me. As expected. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: CelticsGM on April 13, 2007, 08:42:04 AM ... Tommy the Pumpgun (15pts, 10rebs on a 6-7 shooting) & Magic (33pts, 4st, 9as, 7rebs) took care of the Celtics team. ... I kind of like it when a victory over the Celtics is among the season highlights for some teams. Not only is it cute but it show's we're on the right track. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: KingsGM-old on April 13, 2007, 08:59:27 AM It only shows that tradition is about to continue.
(read everlasting Kings dominance over your Boston 2nd rounders). ps gimme Woolridge. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: CelticsGM on April 13, 2007, 10:19:18 AM you can have the wool pullover my aunt is currently working on. that's about it
(btw, have you ever considered, and i mean EVER, trading on of your two -superstar- PGs for some stud at a position you actually need rather than killing Magic's career numbers forever ? I mean this guy is in his 4th season and had ONE mere all star appearance, imaging what he could do on a REAL team playing his REAL position) anyway, the start to the season was hardly a highlight in Celtics history. I suspect it will be a few sims till the roles of scorers, shooters and defenders are clearly defined. Right now the whole team has troubles finding the basket and even moreso filling it. Right now we struggled to a 5-3 finish courtesy of a favourable schedule. Title: Re: Sim 1 Delayed Post by: HeatGM on April 13, 2007, 12:54:57 PM can somebody explain to me how a C inside B- Outside rated player can score 19ppg in FG% .505 and .455 from beyond the arc? i think the ratings are fake...harely khoury continues to amaze me at 30 years of age...probably his prime
