I get a promising young SG for a promising young big man, move one of the best shooters in the game for a draft pick and get some more salary cap flexibility for next year. Title: Re: Cavs/Spurs Trade Post by: CavsGM on April 10, 2007, 03:39:53 PM I think this was a fair deal overall but I like it a lot for my team. Humphries served the Cavs well for the past few seasons but he was on the decline and I hadn't planned on using him this season anyway. Woodson has a promising future, it's a shame I had to give him up. It was simply the fact that he is a SG and would only continue to be stuck behind Robinson. I also give up the declining Meyers, who had a terrible preseason. In return I get an even better outside shooter, and definitely a better scorer and player overall. Gragg will fit perfectly into my fast paced offense. Wu is a talented young center, and I've noticed that he improved over the past few training camps, and still has B potential. I was in need of youth in my frontcourt, and I get that here. The pick should be low, as I see my team continuing to fight for a few more years, especially after this trade.
