wow. Pretty good TC.

Bill Cartwright is now A- inside! I could really use some inside scoring
Tommy The Gun Chambers went to B+ on defense
Magic i belive stayed the same
Puris Short - same
Cliff Robinson, B+ defense, B+ rebounds, not bad for a SF
Isiah Thomas just looks sick. Sick, sick, sick.

All in all, this is going to be a one run and gun team with not much of defense & rebounding. Which in translation means i'm going nowhere once again. :P

Where can we see the pre TC?

Very content with this year's TC...

Rivera improved +2, 1 in handles, 1 in Def where it was most needed
Toney improved +1 in Rebounding
Vandeweghe improved +1 in handles
Sura improved +1 outside

Theus went -1 in, +1 Hn and -1 rebounding
Dial stayed the same

Overall in my most key players I improved +4 and I think my depth is better than last year, especially defensively.

I don't know how to do that, so I guess you just have to go by memory.

best you can do is look at your Post TC rosters from 2018.

Buck Williams gained in DEF and REB, so he is A-/A respectively. So much for that D potential :D

Baylor lost in DEF and REB so it makes resigning him worthless, even tho he was my 3rd string C

Priddy gained 1 in OUT, not that it matters for a C, but just nice to see he didnt digress in the valuable cats.

McHale went unchanged, but went into TC as a PF, hoping his D improves as a SF.

Last year's 2nd round pick Griffin Gola continues to fight for playing time, increasing in OUT and HND but lost 1 in DEF. Could be because he is at SF right now, he might be better at SG>

Chase Russell lost 1 in DEF, but its still B so he is still a good enough backup.

LLE signing Jeff Ellis gained 1 OUT and 1 REB. Will fight with Gola for 3rd string SG.

Ransey gained 1 IN, now a B+/B shooter, different for a PG but helps with my inside focus. Didnt lose anywhere.

Vinnie Johnson was a nice surprise, gained 1 IN, 1 OUT, 1 HND while losing 1 REB (hes a PG, who cares!).

Not sure what Alphonse Butlers ratings were before but he is a A+ outside shot, which I dont think he was before...

Cho lost 1 HND and is now D+. Not good for a guard at all. He also gained 1 REB.

All in all, quite happy with this.

Wow, pretty happy with this latest TC...

Mark Wooten did well, going up 1 inside and 1 on defense.
Tyson Thurmond did not change much...
Phill Hubbard is now a A- inside, which is great.  Lost a defensive rating, though...
Don Collins gained 1 outside, 1 defense, and 1 rebound.  He is looking like a very, very good player now.
Aldaberto Marquez is now A- across the board...  Very nice.

Gained alot of offense this TC... Really looking forward to how this team will gel.

Bah...c'mon

Regressions from ALL FOUR OF MY ROOKIES. How does that make any sense. My excitment about this team is no all gone. As the ultimate kick in the nuts I made a conscious choice to take Sleepy over Fat. Damn.

Nothing great, nothing bad for Blazers in TC, altough i wish Phelps kept his B+ inside instead of just B now, still im happy that no big downgrades happened.
Peck looks really nice now with B B- B+ B-.

Centers:
Yao rebs -1 but still a A- A- A- monster
Andresen same GREAT!
Lister -1 out and hn
Humphries same
Johnson -1 rebs
Ahye -1 hn

Small Forwards
Phelps -1 inside
Buehler same
Peck +2 def
Hyatt same

SG
Tarlac up in outside
Barbosa same ?

PG
Trump same ?
Bolinger -1 hn

Hmmm.....not a big fan of this TC.

Gminski and Brooks for sure, and Macy and Munson I think stayed the same (Munson might have gained one grade of REB, can't remember. Lavar Zollner, who I had relatively high hopes for, stayed roughly the same his D going up one notch and handles down one - which was somewhat disappointing. McCauley lost a grade of REB, I think Wood lost a grade inside, Morey lost a couple of scoring grades (figures - the year I carve out some PT for him). Mags continues to improve gaining in HAN and OUT, but his D remains stagnant. Late first round pick Teagle gained a grade OUT while Lester Conner grabbed a couple of grades himself. Lenard lost a grade of D, but, meh....no biggie.

I hoped for more out of some guys - especially the young bigs and Brooks, and didn't want regressions from that many - so all in all, pretty disappointing.

let either me or bods explain how to export the ratings before and after TC into a file.
of course, it helped if you stored the league file right before you run the TC and again afterwards (and kept both versions of course ...)

The rookies are a disappointment.  I did not check the potential on anybody except Pressley and he did not live up to what I thought.  I am excited to go through the growing pains of this young team.  With the poor training camp, a few veterans, Zach Profit, have a shot at a starting job.  I was going to go with an all-rookie lineup, but that no longer is in my best interest.

Tornopsky 4
Watts 3
Dwight 2
Melo 1
McCracken had significant imporvements.

im kinda shocked how well those garbage C+ D+ C- C+ C+ former rookies or draft FAs ive picked when they were very young but never got a chance actually did well in SSBA, altough i always knew 1 or 2 of them will become good players, but not so many.

Myles Greiner 2015 25th pick, 24 years old

Chris Myers 2013 24th pick out of High SChool, 23 years old

Tanner Wats 2017 Ive picked him after draft in FA, out of high school,
21 years old

Andrew Wright pick 22 of 2nd round in 2018 23 y.o

Jeff Ellis Draft FA out of high school, 21 y.o

Freeman Williams 16th 2015 25 y.o

And all of them had all C/D ratings except Williams, too bad some of them were just too young and my roster was filled with then better old players so i had to cut them all except Freeman whom i traded away for oldie as well.

great...I have a couple players that I'm not sure if switching positions caused the change or TC.

Speaking of TC...
haven't had a chance to really evaluate but as Knicks said WOW! on Fat:  +1 inside +2 out +2 handles +1 def.  Rest of the team looks like it was +1 here; -1 there.

I wish we could have pulled the trigger on the Fat trade as we've discussed a couple of times. Aging PGs are a big part of my future problems.

I tried to acquire almost every pick after 9 to pick Fat. Damn :bods:

edit: he was 4th or 5th on my list.

I've got the PreTC rosters.  I do nightly backups of the entire server, so I just extracted it from the april 3rd backups.  This would be after Day 4 FA, so any changes made after that aren't in the PreTC rosters.  But it'll give you a good idea:

Having looked at the pre TC, Don Collins went up 4 levels.  Outside, handle, defense, rebounding...
Considering I was counting on him to lead my team offensively this year, this is really great luck.

Yeah, just compared the pre-TC as well, and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I thought the team was a noticeable negative, but overall, we were a +2. Thing is, most of the pluses are inconsequential, the guys who held steady I needed improvement from, and the guys who regressed had big roles this year.
