Title: Sim 5 is up
Post by: CelticsGM on February 16, 2007, 01:48:16 AM
and this is what happened:

Suns lose PG Telfair for 42 days. Not a good start to sim 5 ... (happened on day 41)
Pistons Beardslee out 7 days (41)
no inuries on day 42 & 43. worth mentioning, doesn't happen too often ...
Heat lose Elton Brand for 9 days (44)
Cavs will be without Manning for 7 days (45)
Grizz Arenas out 9 (45)
Pistons Taylor Bradley out 7 (46)
Rockets Ivan Strong out 9 (47)
Drew Fox out 7 for the Bulls (47)
Hawks miss Schabinger for 7 days (48)
Pacers Boykins is out for 9 days (48)
Pat Gatling is out for 5 days. Rob Swift out 27 days. TWolves suffer ... (49)
Cavs Timmy Adams out 5 days (49)
Wiz Chamberlain out 9 days (49)
Duncan out 7 for Jazz. Hey, it's only JOHNNY, not Tim ... (50)

two major injuries, some minor. we've had worse sims in that regard ...

so that's it for now, more analysis to follow.

Next sim will be done by derek again, but share your thoughts with us now ...

not a good sim for the Celtics at all. 1-3 with

the bad:
2 losses at Milwaukee and a blow-out from Dwight's Magic.

the good:
beat the Heat for a change. huge road win at Miami kept me from going 0-4 ... and does tell me I can beat every team in the East.

John Tyler continues to impress. I love this man. top 5 in rebounds, top 2 in blocks, at 3.7apg best passing big man in the league. Just great, I wish he had a better supporting cast ...

Had a low scoring game against the Sonics. A loss too. 75-66. Terrible sim. But can't wait for the next :D

Brice is back to scoring, but with Melo, he'll be passing and passing. haha

That game was aweful.  Both teams shot in the low-thirties!

the good had a 4-2 winning sim...
the bad i can´t stay healthy  :( and other teams are better in finding ways either into POs or loosing big.

beat the Magic  :bounce:... and that does tell me ...   :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:   nothing!!!

Still runnin' and gunnin'!

Rockets must be one of the best teams to watch in the League!

25-11 right now, hopefully we can stay healthy and make some noise in the playoffs...

Isn't that depressing that Ivan is so depressed he doesn't even post anymore?

Guys, i got an idea. If everyone of us free's up one player to cut him to the Kings (think of it kind of an expansion draft) and he get's the choice of 28 players to choose from, we might get his attention back where it belongs ... to SSBA !

(but hey, no stiffs that could/should be on the FA list anyway !!!)

now what you think ?
:-)

I just can't operate. There're like 5 real time players in the entire league.

Giving up 5 draft picks for 11.6 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 40.6% fg and more turnovers than assists will do that to someone.

Nah, that's not the reason. I would do that deal all over again. Tommy is going to be a great player.

4-1 Sim for the Nuggets

Amazed that at 22-11 I am in 4th in my division.

Highlight of the sim: Kelvin Ransey pumping Isaiah Thomas

Ransey: 36pts on 15-23 shooting, 7reb, 10ast, 2stl and 6to
Thomas: 18pts on 7-15 shooting, 3reb, 11ast, 1stl and 7to

Oh, and we whooped 'em ;)

just the fact that you gave up the chance to get 3 guys that all could be better than tommy isn´t hurting you ????

I still cant believe a .667 win % puts me in 7th in the "weak" West, while the East has 2 playoff teams under .500

Should be interesting if the pace keeps up.
