i agree.  5 draft picks for a guy who is mediocre right now.  He has good potential but I will not put a lot of stock into potential.  I was very happy to be offered this deal.

great trade for the lakers can´t see that the kings competing for a PO place. and they gave up even their next year pick for a guy that could get easy in Fa next year and a top draft pick.

Lakers will not find a player like Chambers with those picks.

Really?

You think this lineup;

Isiah Thomas
Magic Johnson
Lamar Odom
Tom Chambers
Jackson Finley

is a lottery bound? In the weak West?

I agree with the Pacers that the Lakers got a good deal. Unless you bought his potential with some cash and it is as high as his A rating, then you gave up way to much.

edit: It does look like you found out his true potential and so in that case its a pretty good deal.

Geez, the guy is a rookie. With not a single TC under his belt.

yes that is a lotto bound team. finley has no defense can´t score anymore chambers no rebound at all, lamar is so old he will not only be injured but also too slow at SF to defend anyone. magic and isiah are nice but not so good to compensate the rest of the roster not to mention there is no depth at all.

so that makes him what? i can only judge how he is now and how he will play possible this year with this ratings if you think he is already a starter you will be lotto in 019

How's that possible?  You can only find out players Pot on your own team not other.

Yep. Off course i did.

then you gave up way to much.

The ONLY thing that bothers me is that i could have had Chambers on a draft day for a much better price (before new LakersGM arrived) but i had a game and just didn't have time to finalize the deal. Once i got back, Bods already found a new GM and our deal was down. Damn.

yes that is a lotto bound team.

West is pathetic. There's no way that pick is top 10. No way.

And we won't even talk about my 2020. That's worthless as can be. Magic + Isiah + Chambers + tons of cap.

WOW.

What a terrible, terrible trade for the Kings.

Isiah/Magic/Lamar/Chambers/Finley is not a playoff team. Especially with basically no depth.

Well done Lakers.
