Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: KingsGM-old on January 24, 2007, 01:43:37 PM so is Jackson Finley
Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on January 24, 2007, 05:46:16 PM Welcome in Boston, Mr. Tsakalidis.
This is your locker over there, here's Mr. Pettit who'll serve whatever you desire. Your bags are now his bags now. And here's the paint. You'll work in here. Often. And early. So get in shape, Ricardo, you'll be my starting C for now. And like Kwame did last seasons, you'll prepare Jerome and Dylan to learn the ropes from you, the craft of protecting the paint. Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: KingsGM-old on January 24, 2007, 05:55:30 PM Such a long post over someone who's averaging 2ppg and 1rpg.
Unreal. Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: MavsGM on January 24, 2007, 07:08:24 PM Such a long post over someone who's averaging 2ppg and 1rpg. :lmao:Unreal. Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: NetsGM on January 24, 2007, 07:19:52 PM Dang, Weatherspoon was my backup plan for a young big man :bash:
If noone's noticed, I'm looking for a young C if anyone has one they're willing to move at a decent cost. Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: SonicsGM on January 24, 2007, 07:24:46 PM got a young gunner named cannon who has improved every season.
Not a bad pick up, in my opinion. Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: BlazersGM on January 24, 2007, 08:24:59 PM Ricardo is a very very good role player, i somehow didnt see his name in FA, but he is great, i had him, he can defend great and on great nights he can get you 10-15 rebs as a sub, so great pickup
Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: SixersGM on January 24, 2007, 08:42:23 PM Curt Thurmond's true potential is 200. hhehe :)
Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: HeatGM on January 24, 2007, 10:06:17 PM Such a long post over someone who's averaging 2ppg and 1rpg. :lmao:Unreal. too much excitement for a non achiever :D he had one great TC when i took him from FA... and nothing more after that :D Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: MagicGM on January 25, 2007, 03:46:02 AM very interesting signing. Aranda and Nestorovich were guys I'm trying to get last year. and they signed for the minimum.
I had around 10 players who were offered the minimum contracvt. surprised they signed too. Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on January 25, 2007, 05:05:22 AM Such a long post over someone who's averaging 2ppg and 1rpg. Unreal. You continue to prove you have little clue of player value. I bet you would have taken Gasol over Ric in an instant. And they are not even close defensively, And if you get carried away with posting ridiculous stats, you should at least add that he shot 80% from the field ... :lmao: Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: HeatGM on January 25, 2007, 09:18:24 AM just a question....who's the heaviest player ever in SSBA? coz the player i just signed with the MLE is 311 pounds...pretty heavy... how heavy was shaq?
Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: BlazersGM on January 25, 2007, 09:25:46 AM you should know, he played for you :p
Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: BlazersGM on January 25, 2007, 09:50:34 AM just a question....who's the heaviest player ever in SSBA? coz the player i just signed with the MLE is 311 pounds...pretty heavy... how heavy was shaq? Its Schmaltz over 300lbs Atlantic - Finley, Drew, Schmaltz(317lbs) + your guy Central - NONE Midwest - NONE Pacific - Diop, Ming Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on January 25, 2007, 10:23:58 AM just a question....who's the heaviest player ever in SSBA? coz the player i just signed with the MLE is 311 pounds...pretty heavy... how heavy was shaq? Shaq was at 340 here ... and we had Pig Miller at 315 as well. Of recent players, Steven Schmaltz (Wizards) must be the leader at 317. 8) Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on January 25, 2007, 10:35:11 AM btw, the heaviest listed SF is Jamal Del Negro at 254. In 2010 the draft held a played called Thad Milligan, who was listed SF with 262 lbs.
For SGs, Carlos Tower at 230 tops the list (at 6'8" not too much surprise). But Ronnie Artest at 246 did play at SG for the Pacers, too, if i remember correctly. And at PG, Baron Davis at 223 is atop, with Lincoln Lord at 219 following. A few seasons ago we had Rodya Novoseltzev who was listed 225 though. :-) Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: BlazersGM on January 25, 2007, 10:38:39 AM i think i saw heavier SF then Del Negro, around 280
Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on January 25, 2007, 10:42:32 AM no, that must have been Ivan, but he's listed as PF regularly ...
 Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on January 25, 2007, 10:50:32 AM sure, Patrick Kent at 261 played SF too in recent years.
But on the other hand, the reigning SSBA champion Cavs have exactly ZERO players topping 235 lbs on their roster currently, so maybe the trend will favor lightweight players in the near future ... Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: BlazersGM on January 25, 2007, 10:52:54 AM C: Schmaltz 317lbs
PF: Robertson 267lbs SF: Gerstl 245lbs SG: Tower 230lbs PG: Lincoln Lord 219lbs Imagine that, would that team be able to move at all ???? 10 seconds back court violation would crush them Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: CelticsGM on January 25, 2007, 11:27:39 AM ... SF: Gerstl 245lbs ... No, it has to be Del Negro at 254 or Courtney Childs at the same weight. Even Al Harrington at 250 is above, as is Quincy Peters at 247. Del Negro and Peters are true SFs as well, so give them their due ... Title: Re: Day 3 FA Results Post by: BlazersGM on January 25, 2007, 11:39:28 AM i was making the best available team just, there's heavier guys but are crap or not as good
