Title: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: MavsGM on January 12, 2007, 01:39:25 PM Mavs trade: LeBron James :(
Heat trade: Vince Keogan, James Ray and Allen Biasone Mavs agree. Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: HeatGM on January 12, 2007, 08:06:32 PM i agree to the trade...bringin in a more defensive player :D wish keogan all the best
Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: CelticsGM on January 12, 2007, 08:16:30 PM wow, you really DID get something for Keogan, hard to believe ...
not sure what the Mavs were thinking here. Best team in the league and breaking it up 3 seaosns too early. Well, good for the rest of the league ... :-) Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: KingsGM-old on January 12, 2007, 08:17:58 PM You're wrong. Mavs have great D, but not a trully great scorer. Koeagan brings juts that. I see Mavs as even better team now.

Well, good for the rest of the league ... :-) i did this for you :D i knew you were a such a fan of keogan :D Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: CelticsGM on January 13, 2007, 04:28:14 AM i did this for you :D i knew you were a such a fan of keogan :D :?:I always found it pretty ridiculous what you asked for a player as onedimensional as Keogan, but hey, maybe he fits the Mavs plans ... Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: SixersGM on January 13, 2007, 05:01:55 AM 29ppg 3rpg 3apg and 2spg isn't one dimensional. I like this deal for the Mavs. LBJ is 31.
Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: HeatGM on January 13, 2007, 07:49:50 AM the reason Im doing this deal that is Im not going anywhere with VK...if you compare the stats... it isnt really far off...with VK as a scoring machine...and LBJ a better one on one defender... i think VK fits in the mavs team as it needs scoring power along side emeka's defense...while i need a change....im not going anywhere with VK and trade value has diminished.....maybe i overrate VK a bit while the whole league underate him ...this is to give my team a better trade value....LBJ is only 31... 3-4 more seasons :D
Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: SixersGM on January 13, 2007, 10:57:11 AM three season.. Chandler retired at 34. :)
I also think that the league has underrated Keogan, mostly because of his deceptive ratings. But still, I'd take LBJ over VK. Both guys are pretty same defender at their position (stats wise) but VK is a far more better scorer and two years younger. Keogan is prehaps the most one dimensional player in the league. Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: MavsGM on January 13, 2007, 02:35:51 PM You're wrong. You read my mind. I'm still mad that my team cannot score in the series against the Wolves. This trade upgrade my offense don't know how much it will downgrade my D. Title: Re: Mavs/Heat Exchange superstar Post by: BlazersGM on January 13, 2007, 08:30:52 PM three season.. Chandler retired at 34. :) 33 actually, but he is not LBJ, still it was a shock he retired so early, i probably pissed him off :D however, i like this trade for both, they both got what they've missed, its a really fair and good trade for both of GM's, unlike most of trades who're not. |
