I salute Shaun's 12 great years as a Hornet.

Telfair is available for an expiring and some cash/pick. The guy I'm getting in return could be a complete scrub. Just sign one of your scrubs to a max deal and get Telfair in return.

Good trade for the Blazers.  Don't think everyone would want Telfair and his monster contract in this league.  I doubt you can trade him for anything, so I think you have to buy him out.

The cash I received is nearly enough to buy him out.

wasn't that rule dropped? I thought you could do it as long as you had a pick within the 3 years.

no it never was allowed here.

I discovered that FBB only requires you to have one 1st AFTER the next draft, and gave that opportunity to GMs in my league, but after talking to bods he wanted to keep things here as they initially were: you're not allowed to have no 1st in consecutive years.

this deal will work post-draft.

this deal will work post-draft.

HOW? When did that rule change that Blazers can be without 2019 and 2020 1st (since i don't see a deal where they AQUIRED a 1st). Don't get me wrong, i'd be more than happy if that's true ...
:-))))
