Title: Sim 10 Up Post by: NetsGM on December 12, 2006, 01:24:47 PM Discuss.
Next sim's the trade deadline  Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: WizardsGM on December 12, 2006, 02:21:58 PM Well, not too good. Went 2-5. A couple of real nice games by Gminski and switching Odom and Fuqua proved a bit better for each player. A couple of those losses were very close too so it could have easily been a 4-3 sim. I can smell playoffs next year, but they might be out of reach this year.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: BlazersGM on December 12, 2006, 02:23:44 PM 1 word TY EFFECT!!!! Blazers go 5-1 /w only loss to weak Warriors.
Hopefully it'll continue, we're finally playing some defense. @Clipps +24 Phelps 21/10 @Grizzlies +22 Booz 28/19 Rockets +7 Phelps career high 38pts and 13 rebs, Booz 25/10, Ty 15/15, Telf 13 dishes, 3 steals and 2 blocks LOL, he can block someone ????? WOW...if it was Barton who should be ashamed. Spurs 123-115 in OT....teams decided its entertainment day, shoot and dont play any D. Phelps led again with 29/5/6 5 steals, Hoffa 24/9, Boozer near a triple 21/9/9, Telf 15/15. Warriors -7 Trully unexplainable home loss. Raptors +2 Tough one, game was decided by our better FT shooting and rebounding dominance. Raps shooted a lot better FG and 3PT. Let's continue this way guys, good job ! Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: HawksGM on December 12, 2006, 02:42:42 PM Hawks go 5-0 and are now one of 7 teams in contention for the final 2 spots in the eastern conference playoff race. This is the latest in the season I've been over .500 but if I don't make the playoffs it's all for nothing.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: HornetsGM on December 12, 2006, 02:48:33 PM A 4-1 sim brings us to within 1 game of the Conference lead. Good stuff. This has been an amazing comeback.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: PacersGM on December 12, 2006, 03:34:13 PM all of a sudden i challenge the celtics for the 8th place and then i loose to the kings because priddy is injured ??
FBB can be really crazy :lmao: Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: MavsGM on December 12, 2006, 03:38:07 PM Went 4-3 without Okafor. Okafor should be back next sim.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: CelticsGM on December 12, 2006, 03:58:43 PM 1 word TY EFFECT!!!! Blazers go 5-1 /w only loss to weak Warriors. ... Let's continue this way guys, good job ! Nice effect from a BACKUP big man. We can only IMAGINE how you'd rip the league if he actually started ... :-) Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: BlazersGM on December 12, 2006, 04:09:10 PM hey after all those 3-5, 4-3, 4-4, 5-4,2-8,6-4 sims, this one was not easy on schedule and went 5-1 (Warriors somehow always beat me no matter if they're good or not), but Ty obviously brought what i lacked, REBOUNDING, of course i have Hoffa and Boozer to get 10-11rpg but they dont play 48mpg, when they're on bench i had noone to be under the boards, Bosh, Nolan ? gimme a break, they can grab few, but they're not Chandler, and that makes difference.
I outrebounded everyone big time except Spurs 57-27 59-46 49-47 45-53 64-45 66-36 And Ty certinaly has some credit for those wins, i would most likely go 3-3 this sim i believe, he made the difference dammit. Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: BlazersGM on December 12, 2006, 04:12:25 PM and not to mention i dont have to worry too much about Hoffa going down with injury now, i went 0-6 or 0-5 when he got out for the entire sim before 'cause my only center back then couldnt do shit, now i have backup center who can step in and i dont have to worry about injury problems anymore, i finally have a good backup for everyone, Ty,Buehler,Bird, even Austin and Bosh i can add.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: CelticsGM on December 12, 2006, 04:17:01 PM So, what can I make out of this season ?
Having beaten the Hornets 3 times I guess anything less than a title would be complete failure. But another sim like this one and I would end up at the #10 spot in the lottery (which wouldn't be THAT bad compared to mediocrity). Hmmm ... anyway, a 2-5 sim is hardly something to get excited about, but 2 losses came by 2 points each, and my DC was pretty messed up after everyone returned from injury. Positives: Starting Malcolm TRUMP at PG was fine 20ppg, 7.5apg, 1.2spg, 2.0topg Starting Perry at SG was even finer, he held opponents down there to 40% and scored 13ppg and 7rpg himself. Starting C Veen again proved his talent ... that earned him a new contract. Negatives: Atrocious shooting from the whole team, especially Tyler this sim. Close losses. The Raptors won by 2 and took the 4th quarter 28-15 ! Scoring deficiencies. The Reed-Perry-Tyler-Sampson-Kwame lineup can defend, but is big-time challenged scoring-wise Now Chills and Gasol come in, to provide some quality depth at the C and swing position. I wish I would have had this sim too to work them into the lineup, but I will have to live with sim 11 and sim 12 now. If my experiments fail i'll get a lottery pick and a better team for next season. If my experiments work out as planned, I can contend. guess that's what they call win-win situation ... 8) Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: CelticsGM on December 12, 2006, 04:19:45 PM and not to mention i dont have to worry too much about Hoffa going down with injury now, i went 0-6 or 0-5 when he got out for the entire sim before 'cause my only center back then couldnt do shit, now i have backup center who can step in and i dont have to worry about injury problems anymore, i finally have a good backup for everyone, Ty,Buehler,Bird, even Austin and Bosh i can add. You DO have to worry if Hoffa goes down. That would end your quest for anything other than merely making the post season. It's ONE thing to win a few games during the regular season, but completely different trying to win constantly in the playoffs without Hoffa. So while a replacement Ty won't let you have 0-6 sims now, he will also only guarantee you lose 2-4 instead of 0-4 ... ;-) Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: BlazersGM on December 12, 2006, 04:27:41 PM i agree on that, but at least i'll have some chances to think about, last year Hoffa went down and i lost in rd1 2-4 'cause Nolan couldnt do a shit to get me few boards, with Ty however i would probably went trough or make it a 7 series, he can defend and if im not wrong he had better offense last season also but Ivan was taking too long to trade him. And it does matter to me on offensive end too, i have 4 scoring options now, if Hoffa goes down its 3, but for sure Ty can get me few baskets more then Nolan, it can decide too.
But well, i hope Mavs go out before finals as i dont see how can i beat them and this sim at least finally locked my #2 in West for PO's, no chance Suns or anyone can catch me anymore, they were close behind, but last 2 sims made the gap that's impossible to come back. I just hope Warriors dont get to #7 somehow 'cause i they always beat me no matter if they're good or bad, my team just doesnt play well vs them. Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: HeatGM on December 12, 2006, 04:47:57 PM a 3-3... every games was determined by 2-6 points..so it was all a tight contest... i hope we could bounce back :D
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: KingsGM-old on December 12, 2006, 04:58:16 PM Magic alone was enough for a 4-4 sim.
He's continuing with his unreal, all over the court plays; 29pts, 4as, 5rebs vs the Clips 24pts, 6as, 10rebs vs the Bulls 32pts, 7as, 8rebs vs the Nets 26pts, 8as, 14rebs vs the Pacers 27pts, 9rebs, 9as vs the Wizards Can't wait to get him some help. 40mil of cap + 7 first rn picks should do it. Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: BlazersGM on December 12, 2006, 05:02:54 PM not bad Kings, he is amazing, but the rest suck so much its not wonder he is putting those numbers, however good luck with 1sts and cap, im sure you can make wonders with that
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: NetsGM on December 12, 2006, 05:46:11 PM 4-5, the boys didn't seem to like the change of pace that we tried. And am now behind a few more teams - who I'd need to leapfrog. Even lost to the lowly, GM-less Knicks. :bash:
Oh well. Better things lie ahead, Im sure. Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: WolvesGM-old on December 13, 2006, 01:58:08 AM I just saw the best individual performance that I've ever witnessed in FBB...
Patrick Gatling: 63 points, 13 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals This Gatling guy is nuts... he almost scored more than the entire Lakers team who put up 72 points on me. http://rosters.ssbabasketball.com/boxes/99-7.html Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: MagicGM on December 13, 2006, 04:24:39 AM juan ward was pretty impressive :D
