Title: Dirk Nowitzki
Post by: CelticsGM on December 12, 2006, 10:56:45 AM
He doesn't play for me anymore, and he's not in my plans.
He started two sims and played backup, if at all, for me later on. Tyler is my future SF, sorry german Wunderkind.

If someone wants him, an expiring contract (or at the most a combination of one expiring and on decent contract) and he could be yours. If only to go to the Hall of Fame with your team name after this season ...

Nothing is ruled out, but since my roster stands at 15, if you offer 2-1 deals, make those worth me cutting somebody.

man, that was only for y'all convenience, so more than one GM can read my message simultaneously.
And for all Dirk has done for this league, for all his titles, I think he deserves whatever he gets.

:-)

at least his best year were not lost

Achievements
Championships:  2
Player of the Game:  302
Player of the Week:  12
Player of the Month:  3
Double Doubles:  259
Triple Doubles:  2

Total Games: 991 (regular season)

Add 7 All Star Game appearances (last in 2015), including one ASG-MVP
Add 3 All-League 1st team awards (last in 2014)
Add an SSBA finals MVP carrying the Sonics to an UNBEATEN playoff run, still unmatched in league history !!!!

and you see this is no slouch, not even now.
So be careful who you are ripping here
 :moon:

His season high this year (starting in only 3 sims) are 30pts, 9reb, and 16ppg over one sim. Could be worse, especially since he hardly played after sim 4 ...

when are players going in the HOF anyway?  I'd sign Dirk to a one day contract if he'd like to retire as a Buck :D

I think Dirk deserves to go to the HOF as a Sonic or Warrior, the teams where he spent his glory days...
