Title: Re: Sim 3 Discussion Post by: PacersGM on November 26, 2006, 02:09:17 AM wow another win against hornets 8). artest is finally stepping up his game with 3 consecutive 20+ pts games . had a blowout win over nets. Lenard is just amzaing :bounce:. second in scoring while shooting over 52%, shooting 6 shots less than howard who also has a great season but gets no awards either. Only PG did this year.. :bash:
peters, harris and tuttle are still a doing great of the bench and give me a chance to stay close almost every game. Lenard is just amzaing :bounce:. second in scoring while shooting over 52%, shooting 6 shots less than howard who also has a great season but gets no awards either. Only PG did this year.. :bash: Well, this isn't anything to get too excited about ....Lenard and Artest did chew up and spit out the kids I had on them that game, so that explains that.peters, harris and tuttle are still a doing great of the bench and give me a chance to stay close almost every game. Overall, pretty encouraging for the Nets. 3-3. The crushing loss to the Pacers was offset by our surprise wins over the Hornets and Wizards! Defense remains alittle porous - not too sure I can do too much about that without some sweeping roster changes. Rookie Report: Magloire struggled abit this sim as he had a couple of rough games distributing the ball, but overall TO's are down again (by 0.1!) and he remains on the top 10 list. Got owned abit a few times this past week. Chris Cho was very good, averaging almost 21 ppg, one 9 board performance and continues to shoot it at a .498 clip. Kevin McHale was used as combo guy off the bench and faired quite well, actually increasing his season scoring average. I think I like that. Jordan Payton played a bit of a utility role d/t injuries and faired abit better. A few nice games as the primary backup to Maggs, including a more than 3:1 assist to TO ratio. Title: Re: Sim 3 Discussion Post by: MagicGM on November 26, 2006, 08:17:42 AM Dwight is beyond absurd at this point of his career. 56 and 13 with 4 blocks on a 141 Magic victory vs 98 Lakers. After 1 game, he followed it up with a monster game with the Rockets 41, 16 and 4 bpg. A victory against the Bulls with 38, 17 and 3 blocks. Sadly, in the lone Magic defeat as Gatling (54 points) lit up Profit, Dwight managed to score 31, 18 and 6 blocks. In a Magic victory, Dwight was 2 rebounds shy from another monster double double performance with a 51, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Abrogast had an impressive outing with a 10 assists outing with 0 turnovers in less than 20 minutes. Title: Re: Sim 3 Discussion Post by: BlazersGM on November 26, 2006, 10:43:15 AM bad 2-4 sim but as soon as i saw standings i knew someone got injured and its Hoffa who'll be out
for next sim and come back for game 1 of sim 5. Game 1 revenge against heavy defeat in previous sim vs Sixers 90-71, Hoffa led scorers, Phelps had good all-around performance 19/7/6 and beautiful 7 to's but Boozman was the deal posting 18/19 and more importantly helding Fuqua on 4-14 and Dr.J on 2-11 FG shooting. Game 2 @Rockets came a loss. Game 3 @Suns 2pt loss. Game 4 Wolves 15pt loss. Game 5 @Rockets another 3pt loss vs Rockets...Hoffa 25/19 6blk. Phelps 18/7/8. Game 6 Warriors 2pt win and Hoffa out after just 4 mins, i wonder why he always gets injured last game of the sim, its like a ritual for him or something. Telf was inspirated sharing 15 assists together with 6 rebs and 10pts. Team was led by Booz 29/5/13 Phelps 28/8/12 and Bosh 20/4 4blk. Tough sim comes now with Hoffa out but hopefully we can turn it into a winning sim considering we play Knicks(east weakest team), Kings(2x), Nuggets, Sonics(3 of 4 bottom teams in west) and 2 PO teams Cavs and Wolves. Title: Re: Sim 3 Discussion Post by: HawksGM on November 26, 2006, 04:30:54 PM Mike Evans looks like he turned into a real stud this season. Between him and Joe Carroll my team is looking good so far, with my added depth this year I hope to continue to play good ball. Gertsl has turned into a solid pick up for me, as has Nolan Friedman off the bench.

Title: Re: Sim 3 Discussion Post by: MavsGM on November 26, 2006, 04:56:39 PM Only played three games and went 2-1.
Title: Re: Sim 3 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on November 26, 2006, 07:50:04 PM Celtics went 4-3, including an avoidable 1pt home loss to the bucks where my 2 PGs combined for ZERO points, and an equally bad road loss to the Warriors where Baron Davis played his last game for the Celtics.
And as much as we suck, the Celtics can still kick some Kings butt. PG Perry held Magic Johnson to 2-9 shooting and 5 ass with 3 TO. Fine job. Only noteable win came against the Spurs at home. I can't believe how easy my schedule has been so far and we'Re 10-9. That's not good, not good at all ... :? Title: Re: Sim 3 Discussion Post by: WizardsGM on November 27, 2006, 08:57:15 AM This should sum up the start to my season.....
only 6 players on my roster have appeared in every game. So many little injuries one after the other I cant find any rythm and cant sort out my rotation. Title: Re: Sim 3 Discussion Post by: WizardsGM on November 27, 2006, 09:18:23 AM Man oh man I have never seen so many big men struggle in FG% as my guys do. Wish I could tell if it was where they were shooting, where they were receiving, etc.
Having 9 games in a row without full health really hurt too. Was hoping to be closer to playoff contention this year, fighting for 8th but more realistically 10th, didnt expect the basement. Need a lot of improvement. Wish we had a nice FA class that would have helped during my rebuilding. I expected to be right back on top once Yao came back, but that's not the case at all. I still believe that this team can make a run at another championship, but another losing sim will have me doubting that for sure.

This year would likely be the best to start... I even have some expirings I could offer for Yao... Maybe even a future 1st... oh yes, over here, the green Leprechaun is offering TWO first accompanying his expirings. now do I hear three firsts? three firsts anyone ... ? |
