Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on November 22, 2006, 01:59:28 PM wow, the Celtics suck.
details to follow ... Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: WizardsGM on November 22, 2006, 02:20:01 PM Back to back 4-5 sims. Injury to rookie Mike Gminski hurts. Doleac was also hurt, forcing Lamar Odom to play a lot of C and a lot of backup minutes to turnover prone Quentin Brand.
The good: Odom had a career high 23 rebounds in my first game this sim Seymore had 10 assits in 18min off the bench Maintained my 101ppg Decreased my Opp ppg from 111 to 105 The bad: Tried the rooks as #1 and 2 scoring options, and they decreased. Probably wont try that again Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on November 22, 2006, 02:24:48 PM I should post my DC more oftenly cause it's obvious my lotto chances are increasing rapidly that way.
Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on November 22, 2006, 02:32:23 PM wow, the Celtics suck. details to follow ... Really like that. And you'll suck even more next year. 8) Ok, working on trade value time; Juan Cunningham #'s vs the Blazers, 18pts, 4as, 11rebs vs the Grizzlies, 28pts, 8as, 11rebs vs the Lakers, 18pts, 8rebs, 4as vs the Suns, 15pts, 10rebs vs the Warriors, 22pts, 11rebs Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: WizardsGM on November 22, 2006, 02:34:30 PM Happy to see Kelvin Ransey win Rookie of the Month. Hope he continues down that road for the whole season.
Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: JazzGM-old on November 22, 2006, 02:38:28 PM Happy to see Kelvin Ransey win Rookie of the Month. Hope he continues down that road for the whole season. Toney's going to give him a fight with 19.5 per game Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: MavsGM on November 22, 2006, 02:40:17 PM Went 5-3. We need to rebound the ball better. Palacio avg 3.3 rebound a game is unacceptable and LeBron is having a down year rebounding also, he is a career 6.3 rebound a game.
Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: WizardsGM on November 22, 2006, 02:44:58 PM Happy to see Kelvin Ransey win Rookie of the Month. Hope he continues down that road for the whole season. Toney's going to give him a fight with 19.5 per game There are a few who should be mentioned. Cho on the Nets, Joe Carroll, Gminski could be a sleeper on my team if he picks up his rebounding as I hope he does. Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: GoldenStateGM on November 22, 2006, 02:55:56 PM Hey now, don't forget about my surprise rookie, Larry Drew.
15.7 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 7.0 apg with 2.1 spg and 2.8 topg, with great percentages... Team did not shoot very well this sim, but Larry Drew has been great, especially as the 15th pick. Don Colins, the 23rd, came down to earth a bit, but still playing well. And Cliff Robinson is showing he may become a dominant rebounding force, with 10.4 in 31 mpg at 19 years of age. Youngsters did well... Was the more experienced guys that sucking it uip this sim (I mean you, Luol Deng!!!) Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: PacersGM on November 22, 2006, 04:09:33 PM when was it the last time that i lost to the hawks and beat the hornets in the same sim?
a solid 4-4 sim this time i am battling for the 8th spot with celtics what a joke.. :bounce: Lenard is second in scoring 5th in field goal % and also avg 2.1 steals and still he canĀ“t get any award? lost another game in the 4th quarter this time against jazz. tuttle is getting better every sim.he had a game of 16/16 with 4 blks peters is pushing hard for the starting job but at the moment i trust the vet more. most of my games that i win is because i have a bench that is outscoring the opponents. Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: WizardsGM on November 22, 2006, 04:21:02 PM In my opinion, Tuttle is vastly outperforming his ratings. C defence and getting 1.9 blocks? I wish my guys would start outperforming themselves.
Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: Str8westcoasta on November 22, 2006, 04:32:30 PM Day 11 - 3 point win over the Lakers... Isaac McCracken with a tripple double!
So, 6-1 without Barton O'Connell.. 3-5 with Barton O'Connell...! Dare I do it...? Dare I bench Barton O'Connell...?! Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on November 22, 2006, 04:47:59 PM 3-4, a little better - still suffering from brutal defence disease. Went with Robertson back at C moving Finley to the bench, which seems to have had a big impact. Jeff Robertson is trying to carry the team on his back, averaging 28 points for fourth in the league - if he weren't such a terrible FT shooter, he'd be even more deadly, top two. Need to sort out the 1-2-3 rotation for the most part, as overall, I'm abit disappointed with the group.
On to the important stuff - The Rookie Report: Chris Cho had a rougher sim scoring wise, but sits at 17ppg and really cut down on the TO's. I might move him up the option chain to see what kind of disruption he can cause. Ian Magliore is sitting 6th in assists with the turnovers creeping down. Great value at #14 - might be a future assist champ. Kevin McHale seems to like the 4. Better rebounding and block numbers, and is finding his way. Jordan Payton is struggling. Might need to cut him back abit and give someone else a shot. Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: HawksGM on November 22, 2006, 10:31:08 PM Day 11 - 3 point win over the Lakers... Isaac McCracken with a tripple double! So, 6-1 without Barton O'Connell.. 3-5 with Barton O'Connell...! Dare I do it...? Dare I bench Barton O'Connell...?! McCraken had two triple doubles for me a few seasons ago when Dawson Wooden went down. He's a solid player who definitely plays above his ratings. when was it the last time that i lost to the hawks and beat the hornets in the same sim? lol, nobody ever loses to the Hawks, let alone beat the Hornets, and in one sim that's just wonderful Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: MagicGM on November 23, 2006, 03:34:24 AM I'm likning it. 5-2 on this sim. made some changes. Profit is glad to be back starting.
Title: Re: Sim 2 Discussion Post by: BlazersGM on November 24, 2006, 11:09:07 AM wow, the Celtics suck. details to follow ... Really like that. And you'll suck even more next year. 8) Ok, working on trade value time; Juan Cunningham #'s vs the Blazers, 18pts, 4as, 11rebs vs the Grizzlies, 28pts, 8as, 11rebs vs the Lakers, 18pts, 8rebs, 4as vs the Suns, 15pts, 10rebs vs the Warriors, 22pts, 11rebs You cant increase it, he is worth a 2nd rounder and thats it. He has occassional good games off bench, when he starts same thing, on shitty team like yours he can do that every night, on a better team NO WAY. anyway nice 6-3 sim for Blazers, nice to see team sitting on top of west conf. only losses came on road to Nuggs(31), Raps(2) and Wiz(13) |
