The pick swap is minimal enough, and $100's not that much. Basically traded expirings for a usable point guard with a cheap contract, since I opted out of my cap room with the Carmelo deal long ago. With a 1-3 depth chart of Carmelo/Gordon/Arenas/Schenk, I should be set there, and all are strong defensively, as opposed to the C- I went with at point guard this year. I hope to get a useable center with the MLE in the offseason, hopefully defensive minded, and then work with Mehta and the other 4 as a core. On paper the team looks much better: it certainly shouldn't be the worst team in the league next year.
