Title: Plan A: Looking for starting calibre C / big man Post by: CelticsGM on October 13, 2006, 02:00:19 PM needs:
defense (has to be top there), rebounding. Good scoring would be nice but is no must, he only should be decent at least. contract doesn't matter at all. trade assets: lotto pick in 2018. (if you don't believe just check how i did when Dirk OR Matrix went down. and now igagine both retiring ...) Schabinger, Tower, Strait, Przybilla, Robey, Frahm, Williams, James, Reed and the 10mio expiring Haywood in any combination, depending on the player I get. time frame: now. hurry up, it's too late after the trade deadline Title: Re: Plan A: Looking for starting calibre C / big man Post by: GoldenStateGM on October 13, 2006, 02:06:01 PM You have no pick in 2017 or 2019... Will a trade have to involve a pick exchange?
Title: Re: Plan A: Looking for starting calibre C / big man Post by: CelticsGM on October 13, 2006, 02:44:20 PM of course, but i don't think that giving up a pick of some of the young and coming teams who will be playoff calibre for years is a problem. Look at who's on top now and look at their age and you get the idea.
btw, will be interesting to see if the defensive big man will go for the Pacers pick or the Celtics pick. (Largely depends on if people believe Lenard/Artest or Tower/Schabinger will lead their team to a higher seed ...) :lmao: Title: Re: Plan A: Looking for starting calibre C / big man Post by: PacersGM on October 13, 2006, 02:58:40 PM of course, but i don't think that giving up a pick of some of the young and coming teams who will be playoff calibre for years is a problem. Title: Re: Plan A: Looking for starting calibre C / big man Post by: CelticsGM on October 13, 2006, 03:07:44 PM thanks for comparing tower or schabi with lenard :( that comparison is so absurd that you could delete your trade post rigt away ... Title: Re: Plan A: Looking for starting calibre C / big man Post by: GoldenStateGM on October 13, 2006, 04:39:38 PM Jackson Finley could be made available....

Title: Re: Plan A: Looking for starting calibre C / big man Post by: CelticsGM on October 14, 2006, 01:56:33 PM Looks like you have some serious issues about not getting your way... honestly, what do i do with Finley trying to complement Dirk and Marion in their title quest THIS season. :? Title: Re: Plan A: Looking for starting calibre C / big man Post by: GoldenStateGM on October 14, 2006, 06:45:59 PM needs: Hmm... Maybe you should be a bit more descriptive...defense (has to be top there), rebounding. Good scoring would be nice but is no must, he only should be decent at least. contract doesn't matter at all. An offer of an A- defender and B+ rebounder does not seem to be what you are looking for...
