Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: WizardsGM on October 12, 2006, 01:41:43 PM Wow. Nuggets went 5-4, a great improvement. New lineup appears to be a keeper. Short has increased his scoring from 9ppg when I got him to 11.2 now, going up each sim. Slowly building a nice young core.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: WizardsGM on October 12, 2006, 01:42:57 PM Darnit, Zack the baby Profit has migraines and will miss my next 6 games
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: KingsGM-old on October 12, 2006, 02:09:13 PM I'm very thankfull for the way my players are performing, from 1 to 12. Too bad i have to trade them all soon.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: KingsGM-old on October 12, 2006, 02:11:18 PM Man, TJ Ford can flat out play. He's good.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: PacersGM on October 12, 2006, 02:41:44 PM this time 4-3 and of course another injury.
no loss with more than 2 pts :( lenard and JO scored over 20 as usual and artest finally showed that he still can play. Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: CavsGM on October 12, 2006, 05:13:18 PM Won 34 of the last 44 with no consecutive losses during that period. That about sums it up. Unfortunately, it's too late to catch up to the Hornets, but I should be good for the 2nd seed.

That about sums it up. Unfortunately, it's too late to catch up to the Hornets, but I should be good for the 2nd seed. On the other hand, Celtics were the only playoff team you had to play this sim and we missed Matrix. No wonder you went 5-1, hold the parade for now. (btw, I'm just happy i still hold the tiebreaker over the Cavs, just in case ... ;-) ) Another bad sim for my Beantown boys, ONLY this time at full strength (mostly). Guess the change in the game settings didn't go all to well with my boys. Especially Sampson had a big letdown that cost me a few games. Przybilla could show a glimpse of what he's capeable of, scoring in bunches. Too bad he doesn't really play on the other end. Let's do some changes and then fine-tune for the playoffs. It's getting about time something good happens there and having beaten every possible opponent I like my chances. 13-7 against eastern playoff teams, can't remember having such a record EVER before. Hornets 1-0 (3 to go) Heat 1-2 (1 more) Magic 1-3 Wiz 3-0 (one more) Cavs 3-1 Raptors 3-1 Pacers 1-0 (3 to go) keep it up, guys, i'm proud of your "last dance for Dirk and Matrix" ... 8) Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: CavsGM on October 12, 2006, 06:32:02 PM Won 34 of the last 44 with no consecutive losses during that period. Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: CelticsGM on October 12, 2006, 07:34:00 PM of your last 25 opponents only 10 have a winning record. but you went 8-2 (6-1 at home, 2-1 on the road) in those games, so true, your run is quite impressive.
hope you can keep it up. btw, did anyone else recognise that - the 5 best records in the league play in the East - the West #2 seed would be #7 in the East - this is getting more ridiculous every year !!! :lmao: Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: KingsGM-old on October 12, 2006, 07:47:25 PM - the 5 best records in the league play in the East - the West #2 seed would be #7 in the East - this is getting more ridiculous every year !!! coincidentally, the majority of the East top teams are led by mainly a real time players (Hornets- Yao, Shaun, Mcgrady, Pavel, Magic have Dwight Howard, Celtics Matrix and Dirk etc) and in the West the first 3 teams are all led by real time players as well (Dallas - Harris, Lebron and Melo before, Portland has Hoffa and Telfair and Kings - Magic, Gordon, Pietrus and Chandler). :P Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: GoldenStateGM on October 12, 2006, 10:37:29 PM Well, the Warriors broke even this sim... And the usual Michael O'Neal update....
15.6 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 1 apg, 1.9 spg, on 46% from the field and 40% from 3. He plays much, much better as an option. And Andre Iguodala, in his first full time season as a PG, has been nothin short of brilliant this season... Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: NetsGM on October 12, 2006, 10:41:22 PM Well, the Warriors broke even this sim... And the usual Michael O'Neal update.... What you meant to say was "He plays much, much better as an option for the Warriors than he ever did as a Net for some strange unpredictable reason." :bods:15.6 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 1 apg, 1.9 spg, on 46% from the field and 40% from 3. He plays much, much better as an option. And Andre Iguodala, in his first full time season as a PG, has been nothin short of brilliant this season... Nets continue to stink royally. Macy is becoming more consistently impressive, and Reggie King is giving me more and more good games, I'd say. Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: JazzGM-old on October 12, 2006, 10:43:53 PM So 6.5 games out of the 8th spot in the West behind the Timberwolves, I have 12 games to play while the TWolves have 21 games, 2 of which are against myself. Despite my nice late run with my new additions, I haven't been healthy with Theus being out for some time now. Theus will be back this next sim, but Rivera will be out which doesn't bode well to my already limited chances....as it stands now though I believe unofficially that I would be set with the 2nd, 9th, and 16th picks of the coming draft...not too shabby of a position to be in IMO.
Title: Re: Sim 10 Up Post by: MagicGM on October 13, 2006, 05:43:21 AM Jameer went crazy against the Raps 14 minutes and 17points but a loss.
I'm still hoping Chase to be the man I expected him to be that why I brought him here. And with him on thwe verge of being moved to the 6th man role, he somehow found a way with his defense. Ernest played well having a 16points, 15 rebounds performance against the Hawks. Dwight schooled Okafor with 31, 18 and 4 blocks. Title: Re: Sim 9 Up Post by: BlazersGM on October 13, 2006, 02:15:31 PM 5-2
