My rookie PFs are not ready to start. None of my bigs could shoot if their life depended on it.
My 2 building blocks Evans and Profit do what they do but they need help. Polacio returned from injury and increased his PPG so that is a good thing. If he isnt traded by the deadline I hope he doesnt want big $$

5-2 sim...with big wins over the Hornets (on their court) and Blazers.  Lost a 1 point game on the road for the 3rd time this year...this one being to the Kings in which Uner outplayed rookie sensation Magic Johnson.

I wouldn't say outplayed;

Unen: 41min, 23pts, 9as, 7ebs on 11/22 shooting
Magic: 20pts, 9as, 4rebs on only 9/13 from the floor in only 23 minutes of action.

So actually i would say Magic even had a better game.

And obviously Magic was in early foul trouble so he only played 23 minutes.  When you spend twice as many minutes on the floor than your opponent you outplayed them.  It is difficult to beat someone from the bench.

Their stats were pretty similiar and Magic's team won a game. That's enough for me.

My two bigs cannot log more than 30 minutes per game?  They need some conditioning help.  Once they did logged more than 30 minutes good things usually happen to my team.

Beat the Kings
Best record in the league, %-wise.

Austria Wien upset Warsaw in the european cup and reached the group stage.

What a great evening ...

My team went 2-5, worst record in the league.

It's pretty easy to see why.  My best % shooter is Arenas at 45%, although I expect Mehta and Tobey to climb up past that eventually.

Baron's dropped off a steal per game from the last few years, shooting 40%.  It feels like Mehta's dropped but he's at 19/13/3/4 so I shouldn't complain, and Tobey's picked up his game.  The team simply can't score enough to stay competitive, regardless of pace.

The scrap heap PG I picked up is averaging the most assists per game anyone on my team has ever averaged, go figure.  But this is clearly a lottery team.

I don't know what's up with my team, but there might need to be some changes. Towards the end of last season they were incredible, and if anything we improved in TC. I can't figure out why it's not showing on the court...

A little pizzazz maybe?

Maybe Bods was having a drink or two during the sim.

still played with most of my starters injured and finished 4-4. Lenard earning POTW honors and is now in top 10 in scoring, FT shooting and steals. Lets wait and see if i can do something if finally all are healthy.

3-7

Learning a lot about my players since O'Connell went down. Abdur-Rahim is stepping up nicely and even Anderson Varejao is chipping in.

Looks like playoffs are out of the question right now, think I will look to my younger players to see waht they can do, and if they have potential to hold down a regular spot.

Step up McPherson, Wingate and Crawford!

funny statement.

I see that Artest is injured longtime, but that "most of my starters" is a bit out of proportion since you still had your star players and a top PG for the complete sim. Sure, English missed 5 games but his "replacement" Rocky simply played better at both ends of the floor. There's a reason Elliott was your starter when you still were a successful team. And Priddy missed 3 games but his replacement Costello was getting 3 double doubles (after Priddy himself had just 10/10 over his last 6 games) and a turnover LESS over those games.

Guess, your record is less injury related than still a result of the "Tanner" incident ...

guess you don´t know what you are talking about. if you play  in 3 sims and every time your starters plus often their backups also are injured you are in trouble no matter how you describe it.
i can remember how you whined because sampson was injured last year so stopp talking injuries doesn´t matter.
this year i missed Lenard for sim1, artest for already 11 games, priddy for sim 3, english in sim3 for 5 games. also keybackups like harris for 9 games and provost also for some.
and when did ever a backup prove anything because he played good in my wins and bad in my losses.
and to make it clear even to you: without english and provost i went 1 -4. If you lost your starting pg and your 3rd  you have no chance.  And even if costello is a nice surprise after him there was no help either. So loosing guys who are important to your rotation hurts.

4-2, better, still needs some fixing tough.

... and to make it clear even to you: without english and provost i went 1 -4 ...

... and with English the result would have been the same, thats what I wanted to express.

but you are right, of course i know that losing that many mangames throws any team off track. sorry if I made it sound otherwise, as the current Pacers record is clearly not your fault as GM ...
