Ordered it on Aug 29 arrived on Sept 15 and it was suppose to be 2-3 delivery since I paid 8 dollar shipping. I had to call DHL three times to see what happened to my book. :bash: First encounter with DHL was :puke:
Title: Re: Blazers / Knicks Post by: BlazersGM on September 21, 2006, 09:04:42 PM oh isee, i tought you were talking they made a fusion or something and its the same company now, i ordered and shipped few times with DHL here in Croatia, it always came within those 3-4 days listed, but once with FedEX it was late almost a week, but no wonder, because theirs only office is in our capital, so it takes time.
Title: Re: Blazers / Knicks Post by: MagicGM on September 22, 2006, 05:59:17 AM FedEx much better. the magic sent me some goodies and I was able to get it within one week, and to consider I'm in Asia too.
Title: Re: Blazers / Knicks Post by: NetsGM on September 22, 2006, 09:47:28 AM FedEx is the shit. I never order anything that's not from fedex.

Title: Re: Blazers / Knicks Post by: CelticsGM on September 22, 2006, 11:17:53 AM who cares for FedEx or DHL.
i don't like the trade for the Blazers. at all. Curry is a way better defender than his rating might suggest, and boozer vice versa a much worse one. Curry blocks shots, Boozer watches opponents shoot. Curry is unpredictable but bottom line, he's better, bigger and younger. Add Wheat and the pick and this is even worse. (not that i think Wheat will ever warrant starters consideration) But at least they got rid of Greiners long term contract ... :moon: Title: Re: Blazers / Knicks Post by: NetsGM on September 22, 2006, 11:26:18 AM I disagree. I think they're probably about even defensively. Curry gets more blocks, but I don't think Boozer's man-man defense is all that bad, and he gets more steals (which IMO is usually more of an indicator for defense). And he's a far better rebounding, and probably a more consistent scorer as well. Then you look at Grenier and the pick (the pick from the finals team, remember), I would consider those two negative value. Seems about right to me.
Title: Re: Blazers / Knicks Post by: CelticsGM on September 22, 2006, 11:30:35 AM sorry i ignored the fact that Boozer is a rebounding machine. That makes him even with Curry probably. Greiner i wouldn't call a bust after one season he didn't play much. And that pick could very well be in the top 20 too, it's not like the Blazers marched through the West ...
Title: Re: Blazers / Knicks Post by: NetsGM on September 22, 2006, 11:35:27 AM I wouldn't call Grenier a bust. You don't have enough expectations as the 25th pick in the draft to be a bust.

Curry would be a backup for me, Booz will be a starter, now i finally have 3 scoring options as well, Curry would be one also but he wouldnt be a starter. Wheat is just a filler, pick i dont care and i wanted to get rid of Greiner as well. |
