As much as I would have liked to have gotten a PF or C, I am more than happy to get Natt...  If that Defense and Scoring even improves just slightly I will be very happy...

I'm happy to get Johnson, hopefully he will keep improving and take over for Dwayne when his time is over with the Hawks

King, Johnson, and Bradley were very nice picks in their spots...
Vinnie could end up being a very good scorer

Doleac was the next big man on the board, and Nat went right where he should have gone.

I really wanted Bradley at #12.  That was a good pick, he could really do some things on the defensive end.

This mindless banter is tremendous.

you should see the Bulls-Blazers exchange in DJSL, then you long for such high quality commentary like here ...

He is the expert on "real potential" :lol2:.
Quote
And a final word of advice: Don't overvalue real potential. It's not everything. I've seen guys with true pot of almost perfect 100 need 7 seasons to even be decent and guys without high pot being stars for years already. Plus, the factor of luck is unpredictable. Great pot can not improve as much as low pot can improve despite.

Furthermore, knowing true pot of a player does tell you little, you would have to see it in relation to the rest of the league, to his time in the league (experience, which will drop it by 5-10 each year) and his overall ratings already achieved (so having a rating of "A" already and true pot of 98 will in most cases mean you WON'T improve to A+. Just my experience ...)
