... the Celtics avoid becoming the first team to violate the hard cap in it's inaugural season in 2 leagues.

and Celtics forgive Ivan not calling/meeting him when visiting Vienna a few days ago.
(although that nearly made me call off the deal ...  :lol:)

Yeah i agree. Have to watch out for my baby little brother all the time. + This will also help my lotto chances.

Actually, that's the main reason i did this trade. :)


Also, Kings spend $$ on reducing contract of that James Negro guy.

For that violation of not calling i would ask Kings 1st rounder this season, so Kings came out as a true winner here :P

this deal was a tough one to get.

Using all expirings i had to trade (and JdN is simply an expiring with a $300 price tag) there were 18.52 mio in salaries available from my side. Since I needed to shred exactly 2.43 mio in salaries to avoid a hard cap violation I needed to find return salaries in the range from 16.03mio (anything less would have required a trade execption) and 16.09mio (anything more and I stay above the hard cap).

Ivan and I were getting this done with him offering 16.06mio contract value, and the best of it, all contracts on both sides are expiring (JdN with the tag, you know).


Hope I didn't make a calculation mistake, but this was lots of fun ...

why?
we always allowed to trade good player for expiring and/or picks.

Yeah, but what happens when you trade expiring for expiring and no picks?
