Title: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on August 24, 2006, 12:41:31 PM Delayed.
Reason: Give people time to wrap up their shizzle and finish their wheeling and dealing. It'll be done first thing tomorrow morning. Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on August 24, 2006, 01:52:58 PM very generous of you.
i will now include you in my night prayers on a regular basis and not just before a sim ... :-) Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: BlazersGM on August 24, 2006, 07:29:01 PM ahhhh, this delay didnt help me at all in my plans dammit.
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on August 25, 2006, 01:31:14 PM Sim 11 Up.
Offseason Schedule Up as well. http://forums.ssbabasketball.com/index.php?topic=131.0 Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: WizardsGM on August 25, 2006, 01:34:32 PM I really need Houston to start winning. I am 33-43 but only 1 game out of the playoffs. Sheesh.
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on August 25, 2006, 01:44:24 PM Pretty content with a 5-2 sim, looking good in the playoff race - I really didnt want to see the Nets incredible run end.
Some ups and downs, but Mike O'Neil showed some real signs of life especially the last handful of games - consistently reaching double figures. Maybe he's not a bust after all, and just needed an opportunity  Slyvester's been up and down, but I like what he offers overall. Kundla being back adds depth to the 2-3, and Sammy D's swapping shots like a horses tail swats flies. All in all, I like where things are going. Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: BlazersGM on August 25, 2006, 01:47:45 PM UNACCEPTABLE 3-2 sim!!
This was supposed to be a 5-0 or 4-1 sim which would secure my GB at #2 spot so i can rest some guys for PO's. God dammit !! And Hoffa go to hell, this was his worst sim ever since joining Blazers 4 seasons ago. at #13 @Lakers WIN at #14 Kings WIN at #13 @Lakers LOSS(WHAT THE FUCK???)...1pt loss, fuck you Hoffa ! at #1 Mavs LOSS...this one i can forgive, but at home i was hoping for a win. at #8 Rockets WIN...best Hoffa game 28/13 fouled out after 27 mins, so you can all imagine how bad he played all other games. Have a 2GB advantage against Suns for #2, now ill have to play all my starters. + Bird(dont care), Tsakalidis (care as Cunningham is out) injured Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: CavsGM on August 25, 2006, 01:55:14 PM 6-1 sim and we're still on the outside looking in. Wow. To make matters worse, we play 5 of the last 6 games on the road. This is a team who has had 2/3 of its losses come on the road. It's gonna be tough...
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: BucksGM on August 25, 2006, 02:10:12 PM since a 13-3 start, I've literally treaded water. 43-34 and still not assured a playoff spot. If I somehow don't make it in, being over the hard cap is going to suck. In addition, the 6 spot that I'm currently in would put me against the Raptors, who have completely owned me this season (including an 8 point loss this sim). I have an easier 5 game schedule than the other teams around me though, so I expect to get in. Wouldn't mind settling into 7th.
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: HeatGM on August 25, 2006, 02:32:31 PM an impressive 6-1 sim...best of all i was able to beat the hornets... 125-92 :) great game from my big 3...mihm was great in defending yao...mihm had 8 blocks and 19 rebounds :)
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: WizardsGM on August 25, 2006, 03:10:55 PM Wow is the East ever deep!!
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on August 25, 2006, 04:23:00 PM 2-5 sim. At first glance:
in game 1 this sim starting SF Nowitzki and starting PF Samspon went down joining starting SG Marion on the sidelines. Of course I had trouble putting any points on the board and shot around 38% over the next 5 games, all losses. As soon as Dirk and Sampson were back the winnings ways returned. Amazing i'm still just a game (and a fraction) out of the division lead from the Sixers. A great last sim could secure the #2 seed for the playoffs, any further letdown could see me drop to #8 (or even completely miss the playoffs) Have fun guys, this is what we play for all season ... 8) Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: PacersGM on August 25, 2006, 05:12:11 PM nice 3-2 sim
did all that without artest first a win over hawks: Jo dominated okafor with 26/23/5 and lenard with 27/10 and tanner with 20/7 and 3blks then a very important win over raptors: lenard with 28pts and Jo with 25/17/5 and 4blks then a lost to bulls in Ot even with a 9+ going into the 4th quarter: lenard with 34/7 and 7stls and JO with a near triple double 28/21/8 and 2blks; tanner with 25/7 and 5blks get my revenge with a solid win over bulls: JO with 28/9 lenard added 24pts in the last game JO had 30/12/4 and lenard 26/7 still a chance to take the 3rd place but since the celtics are currently 5th and wish to play me i would prefer to face them in the first round. Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: MagicGM on August 25, 2006, 08:08:25 PM rare winning sim for me. Dwight with a 63 pts and 20 rebs performance against the pistons.
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on August 25, 2006, 08:13:02 PM rare winning sim for me. Dwight with a 63 pts and 20 rebs performance against the pistons. Thats one heckuva game.Bods - My team page isn't updating? Tried it earlier, nothing, refreshed nothing, gave it some time and repeated. Still nothing. Any thoughts on this? Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: MagicGM on August 25, 2006, 08:32:23 PM it is working.
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: BlazersGM on August 25, 2006, 10:20:42 PM 63 ???? jesus, thats too sick !!
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: SixersGM on August 25, 2006, 11:59:18 PM No John Tyler.. What do I expect??
:( Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: NetsGM on August 26, 2006, 12:07:13 AM Pages are always working. Before a sim, all pages are deleted. Everyone one. So the only pages that are on the server are the ones just uploaded. If you're seeing an old page, it's because it's cached locally on your computer.
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on August 26, 2006, 01:33:12 AM Older boxscores from the first 10 sims this season don't work currently.
It sure helps having some of those on a local source already ... ;-) Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on August 26, 2006, 01:41:13 AM rare winning sim for me. Dwight with a 63 pts and 20 rebs performance against the pistons. Amazing that he took 44 shots in that game after averaging 23spg all season. It came against Curran, actually a decent defender, and Radman ... Ouch. Still, what a waste of talent, Dwight on a non-playoff team. Has there ever been a trade that killed a team more than Biedrins to the Magic ??? The were a coming team, slowly climbing to the top and still getting better, and look at what's left now ... Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: MagicGM on August 26, 2006, 01:48:54 AM thanks for ruining the moment :(
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on August 26, 2006, 07:05:30 AM Sorry :?
but ... ... I really hope you don't just live for moments like that. Last I checked Basketball is still a TEAM sport and individual accolades do only mean so much (especially for our Magic, that proud franchise). :bounce: Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: MagicGM on August 26, 2006, 08:43:43 AM well, their gm aint smiling at all :bods:
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on August 26, 2006, 11:14:51 AM 63 and 24? That's the greatest performace in the history of this league, no?
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: CelticsGM on August 26, 2006, 11:37:14 AM 63 and 24? That's the greatest performace in the history of this league, no? Dirk had a 73 point game in 2011 ??? Jolly goodness, that guy plays for me now !!! :-) Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: BlazersGM on August 26, 2006, 11:59:22 AM and dont forget Yao's and Anthony's 69, Keogan and T-Mac 61, and Golden 55 guys Hoffa, Pettit, Zach and Amare....and of course Wilt's 100. :bods:
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on August 26, 2006, 01:48:19 PM Well, it's not just a matter of points, it's rebounds as well. Or asists, blocks, whatever. Sure droping 60 or 70 is huge, but 60 + 20 + boards as well it's ridicilous. It has more weight.
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: BlazersGM on August 26, 2006, 04:32:35 PM well, i doubt Yao had less then 15 boards when he dropped 69, i remember Hoffa did 55/24.
Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: MavsGM on August 26, 2006, 05:00:49 PM With three games left and 7.5 games lead over the Spurs, we have won the midwest division title. Don't know if I should rest my starters.

Don't know if I should rest my starters. why not ?? there's no chance for anyone to catch you, #1 is yours. I would if i were you. Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: KingsGM-old on August 26, 2006, 05:52:12 PM Anyone remembers how many times team with the worst record won a lottery? If i can recall right, i don't think too many times, right? I really hope tradition will continue.

Title: Re: Sim 11 Discussion Post by: BlazersGM on August 26, 2006, 09:01:53 PM Good point, but still you have to advance to the finals, i would leave my main guys on bench anyway...even for the sake of home advantage in the finals as its a long way to the finals, i'll rather not have home advantage in the finals then have one of my main playeres injured before even trying to win the West conference.
