I like palacio.  But I definitely think Berk is the better player.

you really think a PF averaging 16/14 and 2 swats who can defend is better than a backup SF ?

I don't think palacios is a backup SF.

don't get me wrong, Palacio is nice. but i doubt he's a difference maker. Fine scorer, not a great one. Good defender, not a great one.

and since he started in this league at C  B+  B-  B  D+ there wasn't too much improvement making you believe this is a future star.

Last season, he definitely looked like a future star. He was my best player, leading my team to the playoffs. His stats were very nice. Just took a slight dive this past TC and now has D potential as well. That doesn't look so good, but he's still a fine player. He just had a poor start to the season and was demoted to backup duties.

Everyone is failing to see that I do not intend to win right now. I do not intend to win next year. Everything I am planning is long term. I am acquiring younger players, draft picks, and smaller, shorter contracts.

can't argue with the contract side. Berk is 29 and will make a fortune at age 33.

Still a no-brainer for the Cavs ...

This is might be too late to get me into the playoffs, but I should come close. Maybe I would have been better off doing the trade right before the deadline, since I was hoping for a good pick. At the very least, this trade will be enough to get me 5 bucks from the WizardsGM... 8)

cleveland got the best player...but nuggets moved towards the future...cleveland pick would become a lottery...but i doubt it since they have berkowski who can play PF and SF... palacio took a huge decline from last season...palacio wont be a star in this league...he would be a good role player though...

under FILES http://files.ssbabasketball.com/files/ (http://files.ssbabasketball.com/files/) you find the complete league history all the way back to the start 10 seasons ago.

and i'm sure the rest of us are helpful too (but of course, everyone else has some business in mind too ... )
